Why?

Women’s football in particular doesn’t create the atmosphere you see in the men’s game, if having a band helps then why not use it??

Nothing against having a band.  It's them irritating tuneless twats.
Of all the brass bands we have in Yorkshire,  those three pricks are the best we can get?! Blush

Some of our lads from Terrier Brass joined them for of the matches and they still sounded terrible. I think it could be the acoustics. The drumming in particular. It's an assault on the lugholes.

The band made the game unwatchable (with sound).

I'd sooner have vuvuzelas any day. Couldn't someone smuggle them into the back of a lorry at Calais?
