Nuhui was poor. Maguire was effing worthless.

Nuhui has to be benched and new tactics drawn up. The guy is a tall donkey. He can hold it up no for a while but no where near Championship level. Austria compared to our game is very different. Stevie May has a lot to prove and I will agree with many that we aren't playing to his strengths BUT ALSO is The Championship a much higher level than the Scot's Prem? He has never looked like a 20+ man at all this season. Personally, he looks lost, some say he will come good, hopefully so but there is not a lot of evidence to show he will never become a star. SG is losing the good will of the fans. Our recent performances have been OK but our finishing has been a joke and SG does not seem capable of changing things to solve this issue. Madine needs to be dragged back to give him a chance UNLESS there are a couple of good signings coming in the window. Sadly, I think we will all be disappointed by window close and just see this season fizzle out, hopefully, without fear of relegation.

Reasonable summary. I don't think May looks lost though. He has moved up a level & needs twenty games to adjust (something Madine won't get). I expect May to get closer to 15 goals than ten by the end of the season if he remains fit.

I would be playing Madine for the next few matches with May but we must have three in CM as well. This ideally means playing 352 but at the least we have to drop a winger and play three in CM in a 442.

Westwood
Lees - Loovens - Mattock
Palmer - McGugan - Semedo - Drenthe - Helan
May - Madine

He also played with Varadi for 1 season at least if i can remember and the notched up 40 goals between them !! so is lavery still the closest we have to this ? he has skill like Imre , but he cant seem to get over the line in the poaching scence  Sad

What Madine will do is get on the end of decent crosses. He did great when we had BM10 & I reckon he will do well with Drenthe getting the ball in. The only game Madine started this season, he had Hallam Hope on the wing.

The point is though, we will never know which one of you is right while he is playing for Coventry!!! He can't do any worse than Nuhiu at the moment so he has to be worth a shot, surely???

That is my point.

I don't know whether Madine will make it at this level & I doubt anyone else does. Already May has played over 50% more minutes at this level than Madine while Nuhui has played over three times as many minutes. I know Nuhui won't hack it. I hope May will.

For the next two matches, the choice is play May or his own, play him with Nuhui, play him with Lavery or play him with Madine. Lavery won't work. May on his own won't work. Playing Nuhui is like playing with ten men so Madine is the best option. Not saying it will be successful but it is the only option that might be successful.

Lavery may work, but we have plenty of time for that one to develop!! With Madine we need to know, either to get him signed to an extension or to get him off the books, and we have approx 4 games to make that decision.

Of course the coaching staff may have already made that decision, hence why he is at Coventry, but I would have thought he needs game time to really show what he can do, not training time!! He is now match fit and could come straight in and start, its then up to him and he can have no complaints which way it turns out, but he has to be tried in my opinion!!

Sorry, meant Lavery won't work at the moment. He is more of an understudy for May than a partner.

Think that SG sent Madine to Coventry to stop the calls for him to play. Unfortunately he has scored three goals, got four assists and picked up two MOTM awards. This has coincided with Nuhui's three worst performances since he joined us and the goals drying up.

If he recalls Madine (if he was, he would have done it on Sunday), he really has two matches because then we play Man City & Forest away.

If SG had the chance, he wud have sent Madine to Australia, just to get him as far away as possible!
May we hope becomes a decent goalscorer, as with Lavery but Nuhiu never will, not at championship level anyway and as for Madine, I'm not quite sure if he is good enough at this level, though he hasn't had a fair crack imo.
