Next WBA Manager - All News, Rumours & Speculation
Looks like it's going to be Slaven Bilic ...

Slaven Bilic is #wbafc first choice to take over as Head Coach, I can exclusively reveal. The former #whufc manager was interviewed for the role last night, and impressed Albion’s bosses. He’s now jumped ahead of Chris Hughton, Chris Wilder and Bruno Labbadia for the job.

WBA 13, welcome to the Albion sports babble family, like most families we have good times, we have not so good, we have squabbles, we have discussions, but we're all on one side and we're all good people, looking forward to your discussions, your views and your points.

Not sure if the IT issue has me logged in as me, I was showing as Josh so I will sign my name ..... 4evaabaggie

So the latest hot rumour is Slaven Bilic, having just been punted by his club in Saudi Arabia after five months in charge. Did I see this coming.... no. Am I excited by it....no. Thoughts anyone?

Well he should be a cheap option which really gives him an edge. Since November 2017 he has only managed Al-Ittihad (Saudi Arabia - Oct 18 until Feb 19) before being sacked. Sounds like someone made to measure for our board.

Excl - Understand #wba's managerial search has taken another turn, with the club keen to talk to Lee Bowyer after interviewing Slaven Bilic https://t.co/gx0G9tzy1F

I’ll be content with Bilic. He’s an entertaining guy and his teams do normally play good football. How he lost his way at West Ham should be a little concern though.

I will say that our Head Coach search has been very topsy turvy and lacking in consistency in terms of the type of football we want to play. Jokankovic’s pure football to Hughton’s functional football to Labbadia’s blend of different German styles to Bilic’s pure (in general) style.
