Chris Hughton received (not so) generous thanks and his P45 from his chairman this morning. Doubt he'll be the last this Summer.

German papers saying Jonas and Zanka are joining Wagz's new venture at Schalke. Suppose that would explain why Jonas didn't get the offer of a new contract if he'd been told to wait for Wagz to get a new job.

Yes.
Signed on loan for 1 year with a deal in place to sign up after that, which he duly did. We then offered him a longer contract on his return from the world cup which he refused to sign, hence why he really wasn't playing at the beginning of the season.
Apparently he became all billy big bollocks and wanted a lot more money.
I too am at a loss as to why we would only initially offer him a 1 year contract after forking out a seven figure fee for him

Watching Baggies v Vanilla for 2nd time in a few beers. Wouldn't want Jed Steer back to be honest. Gave one away 1st game and doing his best this one too.
