Derby vs WBA - Match Thread

Sunday afternoon brings us to the end of the regular season, with just one minor matter left to settle: there remains a slender chance, if Leeds lose, that Albion can beat them into third place with a win against Derby, and thus ensure that our opponents next week will be... Derby. For those who feel you can't have too much of a good thing, that's something well worth cheering for this weekend. Otherwise, if the results pan out the way they probably will, this is the last chance to get our tactics sorted and heads screwed on before two immense games against the Villa.

If we beat Leeds to third then in all probability we would not be facing Derby in the semi-finals but one Mr Tony dinosaur Pulis. As Boro are one point behind Derby and playing Rotherham, Bristol City are two points behind playing Hull.

Yeah, fair point. Unfortunately, it pretty much demonstrates my level of enthusiasm for this season close that I couldn't especially be bothered to check. Cards on the table, I think that if we get Villa in the playoffs (as we more than likely will), the resulting double header could make the two-defeats-in-one-week back in March 2015 look like a picnic.

Really want to get promoted now - don't want to have to put up with Colin next season.

We all want our club to win and so by default we get promotion and all that comes with it.

At the end of the day if we can’t beat Villa/Derby or Boro we don't deserve to go up.

It’s all self fulfilling dude.

I am on hols in Dubai and so super chilled and what will be will be.

I to am abroad, and had trouble finding a wifi site.
I would like us to beat Villa, but must admit the Championship created more interest for me than the Prem, so I'm not bothered as I will always support The Albion.

Seems George Thorne is now on loan to Luton Town where he’s only played in just three games this season.
It only goes to often prove opting to leave the Baggies is rarely a right move.
Pity really as apart from many injuries, Georgie was a good prospect.

Tell this to Rakeem and our current crop of academy players. Whatever happened to Izzy, Saido, Mr Thorne, Roofe, Roberts, all playing for little clubs. Could have been playing first team football for the mighty Albion.

Is it really bad if someone would not lose to much sleep if Derby beat us, if it ****'s Tony Pulis and made no difference to us.
