Testy fixtures ahead but the bonus for us is that we are in the "top six" - play well and see where it takes us!! The first two fixtures are at home v Celtic followed by Hertz. We must try to gain a decent position from these home matches and "push on" from there!

I know its been around for a while but what was the original intent for splitting the division partway through the season? Is it revenue driven or something else?

An attempt to have as few meaningless games as possible SCO.

Given that potter is only likely to try in our game before the final....I wonder where Hibs could end up realistically?

Remember they must play at Celtic Park as well and they'll want to avoid a potential 4-0 or 5-0 "pumping" because I don't think it matters to Lenny or Celtic if it is a league match or a cup final - they will wanna win it even though it is likely the league title will be "in the bag" by then and Lenny's team will not be the line up to win the "triple treble" at Hampden in what I reckon will be a "showpiece" match for lotsa international footie players to conclude the season in style!! As usual, the only threat will be the assigned referee and ref officials as has been previously witnessed in cup matches at Hampden and VAR not there to avoid embarrassment.

Spot on so far re that view and Hertz play out their 1st post-split fixture v Rangers and lose easily AGAIN 1-3!! Talk about "reading Potter and Hertz like a book" and Hertz lose a full 12 pts this season v the Govan footie club - too easy!!

I console myself by knowing that at least I'm not shelling out money.to watch that garbage.

Levein isn't just a pish manager? he's a cheat as well. Lying down to get their bellys rubbed from their big cousins again.

How predictable.

Add to that the Hertz team booed by lots of their own fans for a second consecutive game and McLean, the guy who scored their consolation goal, "does a Derek McInnes" and tells his own fans to GTF!! Curious eh!

Looking at the record of other top 6 clubs against Charles greens all-stars, leveins record is inexplicable.

Stinks to high heaven.
