[b]LAST MATCH

Not too surprisingly the game ended in a draw, Stoke's fourth 0-0 draw in a row, how exciting. Aarons was due to play but turned his ankle in the warm-up and was replaced by Boyd.We didn't create much, just 3 attempts all game although Boyd did have a goal disallowed for offside, it was a close call but I think it was the correct decision. Westwood had several saves to make and despite Stoke having the vast majority of the possession we defended fairly well overall. Hooper made his first start since god knows when and lasted an hour, hopefully he can stay injury free until the end of the season.

THE MATCH

So to the next match and a game against one of our playoff challenges. Villa were having a so-so season but have picked up of late and have won there last 5 games. They have Tammy Abraham who is banging in the goals with 22 for the season so far, and they also have the likes of Grealish, McGinn & Hourihane. I think this is probably a must win, if we lose that would leave us 7 points off the playoffs with just 6 games to go and with trips to Leeds & Norwich, a defeat will basically end our season

Nice one, Kev.

Looks like I made it in first for a change.
Tough fixture here but you know Brucie wants his bonus so in him we trust. With any luck faux-jesus has broken his legs.

2-2 Hooper

I thought the Joooooodas would be appropriate for this one. With a side of Tricky Trev.

Probably our toughest game of the season so far both in terms of importance and the form of the opposition.  As said above we really do need to win this one if we are to have any chance of the playoffs.  Villa are the form team at the moment and Grealish seems to finally be somewhat living up to the hype we have seen around him for a while.  Need to win and some other results to go for us and we could look very good on Saturday evening!!

Hutch needs to let grealish know who's boss in the first few minutes or floaty balls will lose control and basically it's game over !
Also we need Aaron's back causing havok and Reach to put in a good game Becuase he hasn't the last few !
It's hit them hard in the middle and pin them back on the flanks !

We know it Bruce knows it and hopefully for the first time in ages we've got a manager who can a tally install the game plan and not just waffle on about it like the other two wankers before

Presser highlights:

SB: Hooper, Winnall and Forestieri have trained all week and will be involved
SB: I expect Steven Fletcher to be fit, the only slight doubt is Aarons but everyone else is fit which is fantastic
SB: Kieran Lee has trained all week and it’s fantastic to see him back. It’s still too early for a competitive game but it’s good to see him back on the grass
SB: We’ve still got a chance and we will give it our best go. We will see all sorts of results over the next week

with aarons being a slight doubt i think that will mean Boyd starting Doh id like to see fessi given that role and linking up with Hooper and fletcher Thumb up we will still have at the end of the day 3 more strikers to call from the bench in Nuhui winnall and bob !

like i mentioned above the tactic has to be pinning them back and straving them of the ball ! but with Boyd you lose that striaght away because hes not able to take anyone on and run more than 3 minute bursts Doh
