now now come on guys lets not berate other posters on here regardless of what views we have.
we are all entitled to our own opinions
thats what this forum is all about isnt it?
Quantum I'll not sit back and ignore a poster berating a man about his intelligence, who the F does he think he is. I'm all for opinions and debate about anything Albion, players, managers, board and their abilities, but when PP comes on here and continues to slag off DM as thick, stupid, daft, or any other derogatory term about his intelligence, that's overstepping the mark and not what the forums about at all
wasnt trying to Inflame things so if my comment offended anyone i do apologise
Neither was I ? it was just a comment on Darren talking about his own sacking. He belittled himself IMO. Sorry if nobody else could see it.
I've often thought lots of people is various sports were stupid / Thick / Daft / Foolish e.g. Frank Bruno, Mike Tyson, Paul Gascoigne, Eddy "Eagle" Edwards, Vinnie Jones, Balotelli, Collymore, Steve Bull, Joey Barton, etc - I could carry on - this doesn't mean to say I do or Don't respect them. Some I do some I don't. I'm sure others on here can name a few.

Blimey, Steve McLaren in my view must be one of the luckiest men on the planet to make a good living being a football manager! I wouldn't call him a fool, or an idiot ( ) but he's had a string of pretty big clubs, and England, with very limited success.
No thanks.
Hmmmmm.... Big Sam or SM? AAAAGGHH!!

Made a living ??? It's made him a multi-millionaire. he's actually managed by Key Sports.

Colin is actually a personal friend and he actually owns Kidderminster and does stand in as manager from time to time.
He has quite a few well known players on his agency books, Vardy, Walcott, Henderson, Phil Jones to name but a few.
He was a decent player himself, being Lou Macari's top striker in his Swindon days, Sold to Wimbledon when they were a top club. Although he had to play 2nd fiddle to Fashanu at the time.
The funniest thing was when Wimbledon purchased him was a local garage (LEX) gave him a Austin Maestro to use with it's adverts all over it - not to be seen out in public, but hey ho it was free.

Just adding to the DM debate. I can buy his comment that he was unaware the sack was coming. For all the frustrations we have shared on this forum - and I am someone who did- he must have thought that, being fourth in the league, would not have resulted in the bullet. This also seems to be the general view of those in football but not Baggies fans.
If he is being considered for the QPR job, I would be concerned for him without the support of an experienced coach/manager. I’m not sure how much he has learned from his Albion experience and I’d be concerned for him getting back on the horse so soon

I'm not sure if he is ready to step into the firing line again just yet.
In his interview it's a measure of the man's greatness, when he went to Africa immediately following his sacking! to work with under privileged children?
That's where his strength is IMO always thinking of others before himself.
