Brave n bold decisions by Michael from Wakefield and those on the pitch with the starting shirts rewarded him and the fans, who amazingly didnt drift at 80 mins tonight and Mounie, on his knees, had the energy to get up and poke one home to send the place crazy. Perhaps the last 15 mins of ground swell support really did get us over the line in a postive way?
Thankfully the lower tier moaning section didnt stick around for any of that wiggley finger bit, but we could hear on exit the occasional singing block demanded it, despite being quiet for a good deal of the 2nd half.
Excellent performances by Stinkovich, Grant great energy, Terry K and Schindy, the new guy at right back solid debut and full credit to Bacuna filling in 2nd at RB, he thwarted many an attack. Mooys late entry gave us that bit of composure, Billing & Hoggy with their usual yellows had to battle spoil and work hard in the middle bit.
Always nice to get one over the boisterous away following and become a right bogey team for WW, they can have no complaints we edged the game I thought. Lets see if we can follow this up at Brighton by the Sea Saturday.
