The only good news I had today was my bets on Grant scoring were returned as he didn't get on the pitch.

Can't understand why Grant isn't getting any game time. Unless he's saving him for Tuesday. But still, surely he should've come on ahead of Mounie. Huh

I switched off, couldnt watch anymore. Terrible to watch

I for one dont blame siewert one iota, the poor bloke is trying to polish the same crap as what wagner had been trying to, we do have a couple of decent players and a few solid mid to upper championship players. they are unfortunately outnumbered by low end championship players and league one players.

Could he have played different players, of course but we cant change that now, my theory is that grant may not be 100% ready for the top flight full on and that the plan was to come on after 65 mins but a mindless lunge from smith pit paid to that (he's been a red card waiting to happen ever since we've come up, too slow in thought process for this league. The other surprise is that zanka hasnt gone the same way yet, he dives in mindlessly too)

We were slightly hamstrung with diakhaby being ruled out late on too, we tried to play the same way as last few games just without the needed pace, today may have been a day for an old fashioned direct 4-4-2 but its hindsight.

I've seen people clamouring onto the Pritchard bandwagon, but I've said before on here, I do not see what he brings to the side other than buzzing around a bit. He doesn't tackle or like tracking back, he's not strong enough, not quick enough, cant pick the right pass, can't shoot cleanly, doesnt seem to have enough power to trouble with his shots and for getting crosses in. He came as a bit of a set piece specialist but I can barely think of a time he beat the first man. His best game was his home debut against Bournemouth otherwise he's not looked good enough. Maybe its confidence but for me he wouldn't change anything, I dont think he's that interested in trying to do so. I think he'll be one of the first out in the summer.

As for some fans saying they want siewert out after the team selection, as I've said he can't help not having a plethora of pacey players available, we dont have them. Our recruitment has been woeful and he cannot be held accountable for it. Whats the saying about making a silk purse out of a pigs ear? This is what people are expecting from him. The tactics by en large are right, certain aspects need tightening up and some of the positions need new faces but he's not been able to do that yet.

I'm not judging him on anything until after summer and I can see where and how we are by October time.

I personally think the transfer debacle may have been due to a lot of the money earned being used to build a new training ground and the little we had left we splurged the majority on kongolo (wrongly) and was left with peanuts to spend, obviously ending up with a few players with potential but ultimately nowhere good enough at this moment.

Just watched the highlights. Thank heavens for Jonas Lossl. Would've been a 6 or 7 nil but for him.
Couldn't see any more positives.
