LAST MATCH

A well deserved 3 points against Wigan as a sole strike from Fletcher was the winning goal. After a so-so first half we dominated the 2nd half and should have won by more than the 1 goal margin. Poor finishing and some good saves from the Wigan keeper kept the score down to one. Back to back clean sheets as-well after the Cup tie in the week is always a boost for the goalie and back four. They will get a proper test on Sunday and will have done magnificently if they can make it 3 in a row.

THE MATCH

And for Pei, here's the FA Cup Semi from 1966

Back to the Cup and a trip down to Chelski on Sunday evening thanks to the Beeb chosing it as one of there live games. Most people will be expecting a stroll for Chelski but this is the cup so you never know. We haven't played these since we were in the Premier League back in the 99-00 season where we lost 3-0, but did win at Hillsborough 1-0. Both teams have gone in different directions since, Chelski now bankrolled by Abramovich buying PL Titles & Cup wins in various competitions while we all know what the last 20 years have bought for us Sad  Sad

THE TEAM

Our final game before Bruce takes over, think Agnew might play most of the first team for this one. Wouldn't want the kids playing imo, they might get double figures!

Cheers, Kev. Thumb up

Well, this is indeed a tough game as Chelski won't be fielding that much of a weaker team, they're going to want to retain the Cup.

Jim Wank was the player to score the last time our teams met, and were he in the team today he'd still be the biggest earner Doh

Someone's got to go for the upset!!! I will be astounded if Chelsea put out even half of their normal starting 11 and there are some serious grumblings down at the Bridge that seems to hint of a rift between the manager and some of the players. So on that basis you never know!!!

No chance, Charlie!

Sarri wants silverware this season and their performances in the league have been hot and cold. They might play the five that usually sit on the bench but that's all the same to us quite frankly.

I'd expect our old friend Barkley will play, and score. Barkley, Willian by themselves will run rings around dumb fk Boyd and co. The depth of their squad is ridiculous.

Presser highlights:

Fessi has trained all week and will travel with the squad.
Onamah will return to the club next week.
Penney will be out till mid-April (so season basically over for him)
SA on Steve Bruce's involvement in team selection: "He's a top, top manager but he trusts myself, Stephen Clemence and Lee Bullen to do the job. He gives us his trust in terms of the final team selection."

Bad news is we have a Premier League referee for Sunday Andre Marriner who will protect there stars no end Thumb down Thumb down Thumb down
