This is hopefully a good time to play the "Steelmen" after their demoralising Scot Cup exit to Ross County. I reckon Neil will play what he reckons is currently his strongest side that will inflict another defeat on Motherwell and push on positively into the second half of the season. C'mon Hibs!

Dreadful first half, 2nd we had most of the ball but were rotten in the final third. A lot of the fans are starting to lose faith in what lennon is doing now.
He's tinkering with the team too much - why did he leave slivka on the bench ? Why drop Mackie and move hanlon to full back ? bartley is slower than a week in the jail and kamberi looked like he couldn't be arsed frankly. And horgan's attempt at chipping the keeper really should warrant a good kick up the hole. Why the xxxx was gauld out wide ? The boys a natural central creative midfielder..
St Mirren is massive now, we need to get the win there or we are in bother. And preferably a couple of new players in by this window. But that's going to take lennon working out his best 11 and playing them in position!

Yep! A good summary of last night's match v a pretty average Motherwell team. I'll add that it's another Hibs return from a "nice wee break" in better climes and they consistently lose AGAIN!! I'm gonna "pose the question" at Hibs next AGM if I can remember to raise it. I also don't think we will win v Saint Mirren because this team is unbalanced, sloppy and our current striking capability is almost nil! I fear that we are moving into one of these "turn of the year phases" that many Hibs fans have frustratingly observed in seasons gone by. I hope I am wrong!

The worrying thing about our annual "turn of the year phases" is that it`s happened twice this season where we`ve gone half a dozen games without a win and it looks set to continue if nothing is done to rectify it. We have lost more games than we have won and going by last nights performance I can`t see any light at the end of the tunnel. Another couple of losses will see us fighting for survival.
