THE MATCH

SATURDAY 29TH DECEMBER 3:00PM KICK OFF

LAST MATCH

Back to back wins for the boys as an Adam Reach goal was enough to beat Boro. Hutch made a start and Bannan was recalled after his 2 game suspension. And it was Bannan's pass that set up Reach to finish from an acute angle. It was a game of few chances and we defended well with only Westwood having to make a couple of saves. In an ideal we would have liked to have created more but the defense has bucked its ideas up since Westwood came back into the team and we claimed back to back clean sheets & wins for the first time in a while.

THE MATCH

Next up a tough test on the road at The Hawthorns as we entertain in form Albion. The Baggies are the highest scoring team in the league with 52 goals, so this should be a good test for Westwood and the defense after there consecutive clean sheets. They have the likes of Rodriguez and Gayle up front, though Gayle never seems to stay upright when he plays us. After the win at Boro I would gladly take a point in our final fixture of 2018.

Despite of how good a win yesterday was after watching the highlights i thought we were lucky ! Matiass again fumbling around and effing up the chance to put the game to bed Doh Bannan and Hutch way to deep in there own halfs most of the game Doh Fox scared to death of anything Doh and mingeface leaving his usual 25 meter space around the box while he just spectates Doh so for me we won a pissed up Borro Whistle

I doubt WBA will be as drunk on saturday and if we do play like that then we will get hammered Doh id like to see penney back in the team and playing upfront somewhere intead of Joao if injured and if not for matiass as hes getting on my effing nerves fumbling around like a clown with the ball Angry

Fact is we need Bruce in today and hopefully he can start work at home bringing in players which we so badly need !

stats : Last time we won here was in 2007 0-1 Thumb up But we are currently 5 games without a win aginst them Sad which is our worst run in the entire history of playing them Thumb down we are way up though overall 53 wins against 36 losses with 27 draws will see an even number come up this weekend!

0-1 Flecther

Cheers, Kev.  Thumb up

Can the winning run go on? Hard to say isn't it? It hasn't been pretty but the players have dug in, Westwood back and two clean sheets. Lees is a different player with Westwood commanding the area too.

1-1 Lees

I was at the game highlighted, what a day out that was! 2 late goals at the away end that went flecking ballistic with the winner.

Good news is joao and umbongo dont have serious injuries and while i dont think they will play on saturday they will be ok for the Birmingham game on new years day !

Hopefully Penney gets the nod instead of Boyd but i doubt this will happen as hes not even been on the bench the last few games!
