Another game on a shit, artificial pitch and I must say that I currently rate Hibs chances as "slim"! One positive factor from our last game v Dundee was the fact that scoring chances were created but it was still a defensive #### up and it was clear that Paul Hanlon was not "match fit" and certain injuries have been unwelcome. There are also a few issues to address in January and that includes poss "turfing" certain players who I don't regard as good enough to be "wearing the jersey". I'd luv to be proved wrong and Hibs "sneak" any kinda win just to "lift confidence" and push on into a busy festive fixture schedule but on this kinda crap playing surface and into that testy "winter season" now!? A case of "fingers crossed" and hopefully Hibs "show up" and play well!!

It's the worst possible place for us to go the now with confidence being so low.
We are giving away way too many daft goals at the moment.

This is a dodgy one for us simply because the rest of our season depends on this game,
Lose and we will be struggling to get out of the bottom 4 or 5 before May and could end up 9th.
Win and the top 6 opens up for us with a reasonable chance of getting top 4 again.
Some of our players need to wake up to the fact we`re playing well below our potential and grab the game by the scruff of the neck and control it.

Good comments but I'd argue that Hibs are not as good a team compared with the side we had over 12 months ago! The midfield area is weaker and inconsistent but we offloaded some very good players like McGinn and MGeouch!! Also our involvement in Euro footie in the early part of this season was guaranteed to have an "effect" on our domestic form and it has! I predicted it as a major "concern" because I've watched the same failing for other Scottish footie teams down the years!! They are not geared for that dual commitment!! Now we need some "big players", leaders, to pull us through a very challenging period! IMO we desperately need guys like David Gray, Darren Mac, big Marv, John McGinn ( we don't have him any more - took the money!) Stevo has had a steady season of good performances but I don't regard him as a "leader". Porteous is still learning and he can only get better but he still needs "auld heids" around him to "keep him right"! Lastly we need to score more goals!!

No surprises. We went there to try not to lose which is always a bad idea. Everyone seems a little sorry for themselves at the moment, the lack of effort in the 1st half yesterday was shocking.
Lennon has not been the same since tynecastle, he just doesn't seem to have the same enthusiasm for the job at the moment and that's coming out in some of the comments he's making.
I'll be there midweek to cheer the guys on, hopefully we can get out of this rut shortly.

I hope you are right Jim and I'm not referring to Neil's perceived lack of enthusiasm and interest - worrying times I'm afraid!

I feel there`s something more worrying than Neil Lennon losing some of the enthusiasm he had earlier in the season and I`m pretty sure that Rod Petrie has his fingers in the pie stirring things up. The team and manager lost arguably our 3 best players in the summer but I can`t see any of the players brought in being anywhere near the class of those we lost.
I have to ask if we tried hard enough to keep any of them or pushed Celtic to let Allan stay with us. Even although Leeann has done a good job the fact that Rod is hanging around in an "advisory capacity" scares and worries me.
Our average home attendance has increased by more than 6000 since 2013/14 season or in monitory terms at least £3m plus cup ties and European games every season but very little, if anything, has gone on first team players as promised by Rod years ago. Neil`s maybe a bit frustrated listening to all the empty promises and soon the fans will be as well. The board need to act now or the attendances will get back to the 9/10000 pre Championship days.

On a similar note, John McGinn is playing "blinders" for a resurgent Aston Villa - no coincidence relative to our failing fortunes when one knows that we sold one of our "crown jewels"!!! I also recall Saint Mirren's rapid collapse to eventual relegation stemmed from a point when he left the "Buddies" to join Hibs. On a lighter note, maybe McGinn will eventually be involved in a £60M transfer deal and Hibs pick up £6M lol! If only eh!!
