Saint Johnstone 0 Celtic 6 - the Hoops "on fire"!

James Forrest scores four in a sensational performance and "unplayable" today! Rogic not far behind and imperious in a 1st half that swept aside any Saints' resistance - a poor performance by Saint Johnstone but Celtic collectively showing real "hunger" today and possibly "laying down a marker" and now in "touching distance" from the top of the Premiership.

And another “nice” win for Rangers as well over the league leaders!!! Can only beat whats in front of you but no one else has been able to beat Hearts so far this season!!

Shaping up to be potentially a very competitive season in the top flight in Scotland!! Key to it as usual will be the other top teams taking points off Celtic to keep them with the pack, if not they will eventually build a bit of a gap again.

Hertz usually fold like a deck chair at ibrox, so no real surprise..... todays result was a real 'back down to earth' moment after some of the pish that creepy bastard levein's been coming out with in the press.

Big win for celtic today, ruthless in front of goal for a change this season. If sevco are going to challenge they are going to have to sort out their away form.

You gotta say as well killie and hibs are both doing very well too. Interesting season shaping up!!

Six goal Hibs v six goal Celtic at Celtic Park SCO in the next fixture after the "international break"! Call it "crunch time" for both clubs with ambitions to hit the "top of the league"!

I think we`ll do well if we manage a draw at Parkhead but we are quite capable of taking all 3 points and going top ourselves.
There is still a long way to go and there are 5 teams in contention for top and 3 European spots. Scottish football is at a level where our top league and cup competitions are no longer predictable and any of the top teams could win multiple trophies.
You would have to say Celtic are favourites but the rest are getting closer all the time.

Also Celtic suddenly playing well without Broony but he'll be fit and ready when Hibs visit Celtic Park. However, Hibs will also see some injured players returning to 1st team activities.
