Party Seven really ?
Seriously I cant remember them to old or not ![]() ![]() Oh very funny ![]() Watney's Party 7. The impossible to open Watney's Party Seven draught bitter was a staple requirement of any UK party throughout the 1970s. The tin held an impressive seven pints but disappeared from production in the 1980s.

I was only four in the latter half of 1970 but I remember the party 7, didn't drink any but remember parents parties. You had to pierce two holes in the top, one on either side to pour and allow air in simultaneously. They went flat very quickly. They also provided a beer shower all over the ceiling if you didn't do it right and it had been shaken. There were also some where you had to hammer a beer tap into them ..... they often went wrong, shooting the tap and beer out .... if memory serves me well.
