Sums up the ambition of the Owners/Executives of the club.
Hardly surprising.

Let us pray they rap Rondon't in some cottonwool.

Good news on this front, Leicester are now saying Gray should be back in 6 weeks, as the injury was not as bad as first thought, so hopefully he will be back and things normalised at Leicester before January.

Bradley Dack linked as a £20m striker bid for January - makes sense if we are going to invest in attacking football.

I have changed the thread in an early and excited moment as we are now entertaining again and January is getting closer.

Love him or hate him and I am definitely towards the latter, I would get John Terry in on a contract until the end of the season. A knob but a leader and he’d sort the others out around him.

Standing by for pelters but just an option.

I’d rather offer Leicester £25m for Harvey Barnes. The kid is phenomenal.

Anyone know what’s happened to Rondon?  He hasn’t appeared even on the bench for the Toons recently - injured or just not selected?  With the current goal scoring form of Dwight Gale and what may be the lack of it with Saloman, I can’t see us retaining the services of Gale when his loan deal from the Toons expires.

Same goes with Harvey Barnes - can’t see Leicester letting us have him unless a large fee is involved and those two are largely responsible for the position in which we find ourselves, second in the league. Can’t see our current owners spending £25m+ on anyone.

Baggieman, Rondon went to Newcastle, that's why he has not appeared in our starting line up or even on our bench ......... just kidding, I know that's not what you meant.

Harvey Barnes is a lifelong Leicester fan ...... he would not sign permanent for us unless there was no chance of him playing regularly for them ..... that is not likely.

Dwight is a Newcastle player on paper only ..... I don't think they really play him much, if we get promoted and can offer him regular first team premier league football ten he might come although he did state before we signed him that he did not want to leave the toon .....

Harvey Barnes going back to Leicester in January Confused
The England youth international has been given something of a free role under Darren Moore, playing behind the two strikers.

Leicester clearly feel they have seen enough from the player to suggest that he could feature in their squad over the second half of the season.

Summer signing James Maddison has been impressing for the Foxes in the Premier League, with may suggest regular game time could be hard to come by, but the Foxes clearly want to keep his development a little closer to home.

I'm not so sure - if I could see into the future, I would win the lottery every week.
