WBA vs Bristol City & Millwall

After another less-than-stellar away performance, back to back home games this week should hopefully give Albion the chance to put points on the board. Bristol City are riding high at the moment with a string of wins under their belt, and may well provide stiff opposition; however, Millwall are looking early candidates for a relegation dogfight.

The continuing inability to string two passes together is a headache for Albion, but with any luck we can stamp our authority on these matches on home soil and move back up the table.

That cutting brings back some memories, how well we played that day, how bloody cold I was and best of all Ally Brown throwing a snowball as Bristol City took a penalty, unfortunately the ref saw it as well and it was retaken Laugh

I think that game coincided with my first ever hangover having spent the previous night drinking cheap wine and even cheaper cider at a party (up to then I thought I was immune).
They say that ignorance is bliss - no wonder so many people are happy.

good old Millwall
i`m probably the only person on here that sat with their "supporters" 3 seasons in a row.
and i lived
not only did i live i actually had the audacity to cheer(in front of them) when good old Andy Hunt scored his first goal against them(1994/95 season) them having to sit on my hands as he scored a hat trick
it is on you tube somewhere(top left hand corner of the clip the idiot celebrating is me)

happy days

also have a copy of their theme tune(on vinyl) it`s called Let `Em Come
performed by a local guy called Roy Green(he was a comedian, singer used to frequent a lot of the pubs in Brum and the Black Country)

I was in the old Woodman corner when we overturned a three goal deficit in the League cup and beat em 5-1 in the return leg,
Then decided to leg it as I saw hundreds of Millwall fans climbing over the old boxes in the Old Rainbow stand coming towards us, I don't think they were very happy, not sure what season this was ? Sick

1920’s sounds more accurate for the Beefmeister.

With 3 matches in 8 days (Blues having been the first), I’m hoping Big Dave will use more of the squad in the next 2 matches. It’ll be good to see Adarbioyo, Barry, Field and Burke get some proper game time.
