Back to back wins has propelled us up to mid-table. It was a poor performance and a pretty dour match but we managed to get the win with Joao, freshly off signing a new deal, grabbed both goals with a couple of headers. There goal shouldn't have counted imo and the red card was incorrect imo. Penney looked decent a t left back again and should make the position his for the future.
THE MATCH
We entertain Wolves in the 2nd Rnd of the League Cup. Wolves got a good result at the weekend drawing with Man City. Wolves won the Championship last season and will look to consolidate in the Premier League this season. A game neither team would like to play so expect lots of changes as usual per the league cup.
