Hibs travel up the road to Livingston without Kamberi who is still injured - a big disappointment! The game also being played on a new artificial pitch which has already been condemned as being downright awful and poor quality. So this prob renders this match as another "lottery" in a footie sense. I just hope Hibs take on this challenge positively, win the match and incur no significant injuries. Lenny's challenge is to select a Hibs team that will play well under these testy conditions. We definitely have a superior team compared to this Lions' side but no complacency please.

Playing on a dodgy pitch will leave our guys open to getting bad injuries and that might leave us thin on the ground for the next few games but on a positive note we should have enough to take all three points. A win keeps our run going whether it`s a scrappy 1-0 affair or not.

IMO it's absolutely crazy that we are debating pitches that can seriously injure players but that is the situation up here!

To lose to Livingston is no great disgrace in normal situations but according to reports it seems we just didn`t turn up today. Hopefully Lenny can get our new players incorporated into the team quickly and give us something to look forward to. We hit rock bottom today, from now on the only way is UP.

A trip along the m8 the day, and rewarded with a xxxx shocking result.
Actually thought we were the better team up until we scored then the roof seemed to fall in, our passing game fell apart and no one was winning the 50/50s. Our defence struggled with them in the air all day.
That pitch is a joke btw, livingston launched it into the air constantly and played a basic form of hoofball that was embarrassing. The stadium is a shitehole too, one cash gate and very badly organised.
We really miss mcginn's strength and the guile of scott allan. And we are very lacking up front at the moment. Still young lewis allan did his best up front. Time to regroup now after the internationals and 'sort it out'.

IMO you've "hit the nail on the head" - our midfield is weakened after all the transfer activity, MGinn gone and McGeouch + Allan, the replacements are not as good although I'm sure they'll "put in a shift"! Hyndman comes on and then we lose two goals!! So much for Hyndman, IMO just a fringe player after observing him in two previous matches. Defence needed strengthening and what happened to the two players that Neil said he'd been "chasing up" in the last days of the "transfer window"!? I rate us as roughly 7th or 8th place material at the mo, damaged ourselves during a decent Euro campaign that ultimately saw elimination, a shocking change from being unlucky in not attaining the runners up spot last season. We need our best strikers back asap, our best defenders and midfielders grouped together and a "massive reaction" starting from now!!!! Do it Neil during this international "rest period"! Killie the next target at ER and thankfully on a grass surface!!!

Listening to Mikey Stewart on bbc Sportscene "slamming" the poor condition of this Livy artificial pitch and the flicking up of black rubber pellets all over the place - old topic and yet it is a f###### joke that the SFA allow this category of footie pitch to be used in top level footie in Scotland - an absolute disgrace! It's also ironic as I've recently observed Spartans lifting the same surface (with lotsa horrible rubber pellets!) from their secondary training pitch and replaced with a higher category artificial pitch.

They laid it 3 weeks ago ffs, they are going to pick up some points at home because of that pitch.
