Well, when I tackled them, they said they funded them (or words along those lines). They wear the same shirt with the same sponsor and use our crest. Doesn't that imply that they are? Or am I being naive?

Neither Sheffield men’s team has a ladies team. The one you played today is completely independent, hence being called just Sheffield Ladies. Wednesday announced at a fan forum last week that they are looking into setting one up, maybe we would be better just taking over financing the one that already exists if we are prepared to pump some money into it.
