Hull vs WBA - Match Thread
Just got back from the Pub where I had a long chat with a "Well known local Blind Celeb". He said he listened to the match on the radio and "Tom Ross" commented that a player covered 13Km during the match. Dave ..... Oppps. said they should try coming out with me and my running partner. We did 15 MILE in 2 hours this morning across the hills carrying our equipment. He didnt think they would manage it. DD Angel Angel

I think the point is Josh its not that they just said AI was useless, they went into detail about what to expect and I have not seen anything to make me doubt them.

Boring football, defend if you winning drawing or losing. Same team all the time, awful tactics and substitutions, then blame everything except himself, etc.

I was prepared to give him a shot, now I am of the opinion he has to go.

Isn't the African Nations Cup cancelled?

No it's not Stairs.

Morocco were supposed to be the hosts but, pulled out due to the ebola crisis.

I believe Equitorial Guinea have stepped in to replace them as hosts.

Perhaps if we only lose Mulumbu it wouldn't be too bad.

Good job that Saido decided to play for England as his Country of birth is still in the competition.

What Nationalities are Anichebe and Brown then? Huh

Anichebe and Ideye are both Nigerian, but neither are first-choice players for their country now.

Damn - I had hoped it would save us from that. We won't miss Brown Ideye as the coach obviously can't stick him!

Could be a blessing in fact if Ideye goes out there and scores lots of goals.

It seems AI needs to be poked in the middle of the forehead before he see's the obvious.

Sometimes you catch a cold..You go to the Doctors,he prescribes some medicine, you take it hoping it will make you feel better, and,it might do for a while, but it doesn't actually work for very long, because ultimately, there is no cure for the common cold!

Albion are in a similar position. It probably doesn't matter too much who the Head Coach is,whilst we retain the symptoms of a bad cold,we wont be cured. The whole Club needs a complete overhaul.Apart from JP who is going nowhere, every other member of the backroom Team,Coaching staff and of course Mr Irvine, just seem to be taking the piss out of this great Club of ours!

Systematically, they are draining the spirit of the Supporters. They have taken away that excitement of a visit to the Hawthorns. They have signed good, fast attacking players, and generate derision when they are not played.

The Club needs to start again.Irvine just has to go,we cannot continue watching the pure tripe that is being fed to us every week. For Goodness sake Mr Peace,we are Albion.Do something positive to get the momentum going again.Surely you can see that the Staff you have in place have no interest in the long term future of WBA.Have no connection with our traditions, and have no connection whatsoever with the needs of our Supporters. We want to try and win games, thats all,and we don't want to listen to the bullshit that's spoken when we keep putting up with the pathetic displays we have witnessed this Season!

Whilst everyone is boo-hooing about how THEY feel having not watched their beloved Albion win for a few weeks, has anyone spared a thought for our players bustin-a-gut for absolutely no return? How do we think the players feel today after finally getting something for their efforts away from home and keeping a clean sheet?

Just a thought.

Tidy, forgive me if I sound a bit cynical but the players are doing what the manager is telling them to do as they are his tactics and the way he wants it to be. The tactics and team selection is wrong all day long, after all 92% of us can't be wrong can we Huh

I'm sure the players don't like not winning BUT when they look at their bank accounts I would say that more than compensates for the doom and gloom around the club and amongst the fans etc. As for bustin a gut, playing football for 40k a week isn't exactly 'hard graft' is it.

I don't blame the players one bit, its all down to an inept HC who is in way above his head, its like putting a tyre fitter in charge of a F1 team.
