I think Robinson was away with the under 21s but had to withdraw.
And what's happened to Paterson?

I'M NO PESSIMIST.....JUST AN OPTIMIST WITH EXPERIENCE !!

I'm horribly optimistic about this one - mainly because I'll be completely away from any football over the weekend (we're off to Banbury, who are actually AT Guernsey, as I continue to harvest appalling luck in visiting places with football teams); we're off to Torquay in November, so I assume they'll be playing either Gillingham or the Moon that week.
Don't know too much about Boro's dealings, but they've brought in a fair few players - Kike stands out, but Kenneth Omeruo and Patrick Bamford are both pretty talented.

Torquay will have a job on playing Gillingham unless they draw them in the FA Cup, they're 2 leagues apart!!
Looking forward to the Boro game, got a good feeling about this one, first home win and a good performance.

Interesting to hear Powells views on certain players last night and by the sounds of it we can look forward to a front 2 partnership tomorrow of Wells and Vaughan.
So given all that I'm going with the following starting line up Smithies
Peltier,Hudson,Lynch,Robinson Hammill,Coady,Butterfield,Scannell Wells,Vaughan Subs Murphy Wallace Dixon Majewski Ward Stead Bunn

Well it's come round at last. It seems like years since the last time we trundled down Leeds Road to see our heroes. What was it? Forest in the cup?
Expecting a big crowd today. We have a full car with our friend for a tenner tickets being taken up. Also my mate at work is going and he hasn't been to a match since that bleak day in Salford. |
