He was going to do a portrait of Lai, but he'd f****d off back to China before he'd got his easel out.

It was a good little programme

You are lucky, there are some clubs where we only have piss-artists in residence. Quite a few of them get a game.

Dumbo here.... what was the programme (reading the comments wets the appetite but I'm still guessing.....obviously the Baggies)? What was it called and I presume it's on ketchup.... sorry, catch up?

Just watched it myself. Totally agree, it was a very good programme and Tai, who started out being indifferent to football, became an Albion fan.
It spoke about football. Not just West Brom.

I thought it was great and Tai’s emotions when we scored and won had me filling up as well. Hope to see him up There this season. He’s one of us now and loves The Hawthorns & The Albion.

Recorded this last month and just got round to watching it last night. Agree with all said above; Tai seems a really genuine and empathic bloke, a great painter, and I do wonder whether he's still following our games now.
For the record, it's also a little-known historical fact that Napoleon had a portrait of Tony Pulis on his wall ![]() "I would rather spend a holiday in Tuscany than in the Black Country, but if I were compelled to choose between living in West Bromwich or Florence, I should make straight for West Bromwich." - J.B.
