Anyone watch the programme that was on C4 last night?

Just put in on now.

Bit sad, really, that it's all about the relegation battle so far.

He's not a very quick painter. Pulis was sacked before he'd finished his portrait. And he started it in pre season. Rolleyes

Just watched it on catch up - I think the artist is one of us now, fascinating how he went from indifferent to very emotional at the end.

I wonder if he chose West Brom because he worked with Frank Skinner on Landscape Artist of the Year.....?

I thought it was an outstanding programme. Tai had a great way with all the people he interacted with - manager, players supporters. Although not a football fanatic, he never talked down to those fans who defined their lives by their love of the game and the Baggies, he just listened and understood. Like others, I loved that, as the season progressed, he became emotionally bound up in the club - that scene when we scored against Spurs was just priceless. As hard as it was to watch a programme where we all knew the outcome was relegation, I reckon it made for a better production than if we'd ended up in a mid table position - there would have been none of the emotion or edge that it actually had.

The boy can paint a bit as well Smile
