I like Maguire, he is a traditional style CH but can also play with his feet a bit. So far for me he has been one of our better players.

Don't think anyone has said anything bad about him on here. No mention has been made of his ex-grunter status.
In fact I'm quite proud of our back three being from South Yorkshire and, furthermore, the number of Yorkies and northerners in the team/squad. Maybe this is why we are doing so well 
and complicated

Yesterday he lost his way a bit after the goal he made some sloppy passes !! and gave a cheap yellow card away .. still a lot to learn in my book also walker gave some sloppy passes away and was missing when crosses came over pickford saved his bacon twice !!
got to play better against Croatia just turning up like yesterday wont cut it !! changes are needed and delph isnt one of them hes as useless as sterling ?? Maguire is from what was my childhood home of mosborough never knew that untill the other day alot younger than me obviously and was just a sperm when we were kicking the ball about round the streets of elmwood !

Hes a good little player but hes the last player in the world you want on the end of the attack infront of goal ! for me he has to play behind the front 2 in a free role but southgates England like jos at wednesday only play 3-5-2 and two are wingbacks and sterling as a wingback would be as much a liabilty as Van larry acken at centerback !

He was cast in the role of a striker. And it didn’t come off. In front of goal he was hopeless.

Dier would work well in a Carlos team as he never passes forward. Be happy if Loftus-Cheek took Hendo's place.
