Typical Portugal performance. Everything goes through Ronaldo and they rely heavily on him. Morocco have been good and should really be level at half time and Amrabat on the right wing has been particularly good. Need to see more from Ziyech and Belhanda.

Have you guys heard about the Sporting Lisbon incident from last month? After Sporting failed to qualify for the Champions League, a big group of fans attacked the players and staff at the training ground.

In response 9 players have terminated their contracts. William Carvalho, Rui Patricio (now joined Wolves), Gelson Martins, Bruno Fernandes, Bas Dost, Ruben Ribeiro, Daniel Podence, Rafael Leao and Rodrigo Battaglia.

Carvalho, Patricio, Martins and Fernandes are at the World Cup with Portugal and we were linked with Battaglia in January and about a month ago.

Well Morocco are out. Such a shame as I thought they’d push Spain and Portugal to go through.

Portugal are bloody dreadful and without Ronaldo, they’d be even more shit. They are really a 2 man team and are very reminiscent of Leicester in the season after they won the league who were heavily reliant on Mahrez and Vardy.

I hope Portugal finish second and have to face in-form Russia.

Uruguay are just as bad as Portugal. Strong defensively but very poor going forward and overly reliant on Cavani and the toothy prick Suarez. I hope they face Portugal in the knockout so one of the boring ‘stronger’ teams go out.

Iran vs Spain later. Today has been a very unappetising match day.

Sergio Ramos in particular has no leg to stand on considering his actions in the previous two Champions League finals.
