Krychowiak there, showing every ounce of the skill and talent that helped carry Albion to the lofty heights of 20th in the Premier League.

Poland were pants
Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

Poland were really poor and I think the coach made the mistake of trying to play Lewandowski and Milik together when they’d have been better off putting Linetty alongside Krychowiak which would have allowed Zielinski to play further forward behind Lewandowski. Senegal on the other hand played with energy and a purpose but still lacked quality in the final third.
It should be a really good group with 4 good teams all battling to get though. I still think Colombia will finish top with the other three battling for second.

It all started from the goalkeeper’s decision to punch instead of catching. Punching was actually the harder thing to do.
I really despise how goalkeeping has become. When I was younger and playing I was taught to always catch and if it isn’t possible then parry or punch the ball away from danger. Nowadays (I now sound like an old man) it is seemingly the opposite and that is detrimental to the standard of goalkeeping.
