I think on this occasion you're right Dev,O Donnell was released ,probably because he was too good to be back up keeper to Tommy ,I would imagine we will have offered him a new contract but maybe he turned it down .I'd be surprised if we just let his contract run out.
I'm looking forward to some more MA announcements this week ,it seems like a striker is high up on his list , any suggestions Dev ? Bob's board are saying the striker who let him down was Nathan Blissett.

It also says he had just extended his contract so its unlikely to have been him. There's no way we would be paying a fee. Plus its Mr Knowall who started the rumour.

Nathan Blissett was down here at Torquay doing quite well, Plymouth took him, he struggled for a place. Ended up on loans, went to Macclesfield for their run in did well again, but I think I read he recently contracted himself ..........

He has as many loans and moves as COG which isn't the best sign, but he seems to do a decent job in the National League.

The obvious striker choices have gone, or wouldn't move, like Danny Rowe. Morgan-Ferrier or Fondop-Talom maybe ? I'd certainly try for Ky Marsh-Brown from Whitehawk for speed and maybe chuck a risky one on their Swiss player Gold Omotayo to light up attacking midfield. And if we had sent a player on a year's loan to Frickley and he'd scored 35 goals we'd be giving him a contract wouldn't we? So yeah I'd sign Jacob Hazel for one ......

Jonah Louis - he wants to be within driving distance of Stoke doesn't he? Now I spent a year in Stoke. I'd try to be well out of range of the place - nice people shame about ........

Well the countryside heading back into Derbyshire's lovely.

Glad Wiseman found a club, but it shows what a bad signing he was for Division One that he can't find an EFL club now ........

Charlie Carter was barely on my RADAR. I noticed he had scored some goals but Woking experienced such a calamitous fall from grace last season, having seemed like a mid-table team and dangerous opponent to the side everyone wanted to play against that I didn't seriously note him other than he was young.

I think he's the right age for us and we do need goals coming from midfield. He's clearly quite resilient and gets out on the field most weeks, which is vital in this football. Trouble with younger players though is you do tend to have to pay for them!

I'm still waiting to see who is lining up to partner Ugwu, another Woking refugee, up front. I think Gilchrist is still at Southport, he scored a lot, Glen Taylor at Spennymoor might well step up and continue scoring and I'm still an advocate of Jacob Hazel. I'm still wishing we'd done some kinda deal to bring Ricky Miller to us and Dennis to the Posh ........ but the Dennis cash is clearly going elsewhere. (Is Joe Wheatley still at Darlington, he'd strengthen our midfield too???) (I think so, he did well for England C.) Two ways to come up with promising names is look at recent England C caps - Paul Fairclough knows what he is doing - and Jamie Vardy's triallists - good players are coming out of there. As we seem so keen to loan players to Sheffield FC I'm disappointed we haven't moved in for their England C defender Alex Brown, he has to be worth a go.

I'm thinking Carter may be a similar type to Rowley so It'll be interesting to see if he starts with both.Cant see it in a 442 .
