West Ham have enquired about West Brom striker Salomón Rondón. Pellegrini knows him from Malaga. Chelsea and Spurs were interested in January. Has £16m buy out clause

If Pellegrini's got half a brain he'd offer us £2m tops, to come on after 80 mins. Decent Championship player at best.

If anyone can get the best out of Rondon it is Pellegrini. Pellegrini gave Rondon his chance at Malaga and even played him ahead of Ruud van Nistlerooy. That was when Rondon burst onto the scene and became a beast for Malaga.

Since then obviously things haven’t gone as well for him. Russia and then here to WBA to play under a dinosaur. I hope Rondon stays but I will understand the pull of playing in London and under a Pellegrini again.

Dempsey is actually more of a DM, Wagner at Huddersfield actually used him as a RB ..

Kyle Dempsey was named Young Player of the Year for 16/17. Are you pleased to have signed him on a permanent three-year contract this summer?

Yes. He might not have got the most goals or assists but he went so unnoticed in League One last season making chances winning the ball back, a bit like N’Golo Kante for Leicester. He wasn’t noticed out of our team but he was my Player of Season last year. The fact we’ve got him permanent shows this club is on the up.

I was really hoping that he would be one player who would stay but he was born and raised in Burnley and came through their youth system so it won’t surprise me if he wants to go back home.

I just hope we can get our money back on him. I think it was £12 million we spent on him.
