Exclamation
Is Mark Jenkins teasing us a little with with this statement? Could it be Green and Yellow stripes?

“It’s the start of a new partnership and I know everyone is looking forward to seeing the new kit range. I think our fans will approve. We’re delighted to be joining forces with such a well-respected and globally popular brand as PUMA.”

If accurate it would be my favourite strip for years. How could you not get promoted wearing it?

I'd read that as just saying he thinks it will look good, not that those who love yellow and green will have their way.

Well palm and Chinese writing won't be on the strip

ALBION are today delighted to welcome Ideal Boilers to our Hawthorns family as the Club's new Principal Partner.

Ideal have signed a two-year agreement which will see the Ideal Boilers logo appear on Albion's kit and training wear for the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons.

Suppose to be one of the top three sponsorship deals ever in the championship !!!

I really really like that mock-up of the kits. Look better than what we ever had with Adidas.

I hope it’s somewhat similar for the home. For the away I’d like either Green and Yellow stripes, red and black stripes or all red. I think red and black stripes (AC Milan style) would a good change.

So maybe this is grasping at straws a little or perhaps I am the next Sherlock who knows.  The first image below is part of the new leisure wear which was launched in the club shop today.  You will note the text on the shirt Baggies Puma 78, I have not been able to find any reference to Puma 78, other than cars.  The second image is the 1978 West Brom Away shirt, of could it just be referring to the best Baggies team in my lifetime.

That's a good spot Salop .......

What other reason would you randomly put the number 78 on anything unless anyone knows how it's related to Puma if at all and as you have pointed out our kit in 78 was green and yellow, Incidentally who were our shirt sponsors in 78 ?

Just checked it was Umbro Thumb up
