Not a bad keeper
Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

Look at Shwan Jalal's list of clubs.

Ask yourself why he's been everywhere.

Apparently he did well for Macclesfield behind a sound defence ........ but if he was good he'd have stayed somewhere. He has been inconsistent in the past. Let's hope last season demonstrated that extreme maturity has brought about a late change.

Personally him and Nelson in our first three signings makes me fear MA opened his play book at 2009 instead of 2019.

I thought that about Craig Davies before he arrived Dev .
Wasn't Shwan in the Vanarama team of the year ? So I would imagine he's not too shabby for this level and we only have Anyon to compare !

He WAS in the team of the year and Macc still let him go, although I've not heard anyone suggest he was better than Grant Smith at Boreham Wood, or even young Baxter on loan at Woking ......... He did well last season but if anyone had told you that two years on from justifying our failure even to offer Aaron Chapman a single game you'd be investing your hopes in a 34 year-old much-travelled-and-tried Iraqi keeper to get us out of non-league football, just because he's better than Joe Anyon, wouldn't you have laughed? If we'd stayed up and signed him everyone would be going what the fkuc ...... now wouldn't they?

Like Joe Anyon he's 6'2" .......
