Hertz v Hibs, Wed 9 May, KO 7.45pm
#1
And another testy fixture coming up for Hibs v Hertz this time and this is one derby game that we wanna win. Hertz effectively 'playing for nowt' but no doubt they will be trying to avoid a defeat to a resurgent Hibs team that could be on the verge of snatching second place in the next seven days if 'all goes to plan'!! Our fans cannae get enough tickets for this match and esp after Hearts home unbeaten record was ended on Sunday by Celtic. I'm hoping their testy Sunday match in the sun has inflicted damage to their short recovery time for this Wednesday match! It looks like 'laughing boy', a goal scorer v Celtic, is out with an ankle injury. His mate Naismith shouldn't be playing either if a ref named Madden had done his job properly and dismissed the dirty b######! We need to win this match on a 'slow pitch' v a Hertz side that is not as good as this Hibs one. I think we can emulate Celtic's performance and win it well! C'mon Hibs and attain the requisite result that will set us up nicely for Sunday!

Hertz will not be playing for nowt. This is their cup final, they will be going for it 100%. Levein will view the season as a success if he stops us getting 2nd spot, that's just the way he operates. He's totally small time, you seen that with his pathetic spats with scott brown and Rodgers and his stupid wee slogan that came back to bite him on the arse.

The game wont be a classic, the pitch will be slow so they can play it long and interrupt our passing game whilst the tackles will be flying in. We have to ride out their high press and physicality early on if we are going to win this. Team pretty much picks itself unless lennon wants to pitch in bartley for his steel.

Even though they are a murder footballing side we are going to have to be at our best and toughest mentally to win.

And our strikers must do better than McLaren in the previous match v the Dons.
There is a classic photo 'doing the rounds' of Hibs players 'warming up' at Tynecastle with high 'wavy grass' around them lol - priceless humour Laugh and really 'putting the boot' into the way that Hertz, under Potter, 'go aboot their business'.

McInnes shites it again. Quelle surprise. Best thing for them would be to finish 4th and bin McInnes. Waited to the 90th minute to bring on the top scorer FFS. If we don't lose the morn and Celtic beat the sheep I think we will finish 2nd.

Hertz forward Naismith offered a two match ban by the SFA ref panel! He should be missing this derby match tonight if another shit Scottish ref had carried out his ref duties properly! Thumb down It is another indictment against the Scot ref system AGAIN!

Levein kicking off again at Brendan Rodgers. The dens park bottler has a short memory when it comes to talking about 'level playing fields'.

Hertz even before mad vlad spent way,way more than they earned, levein was there for 4 years of the overspend years and won xxxx all as per usual. Potter is also on very shaky ground when he starts spouting off about the reasons for Scotland not qualifying for world cups....A halfway competent coach would have got us out that group he fucked up in with the 4-6-0 in prague.

The mans a grade A cock.

A Hertz player named Smith saying on Radio Forth that his team is actually better than Hibs!? Nae substance to that unqualified remark and I think Hibs and fans will just ignore it. My only words to utter are, "WHO ARE YA SON AND WHAT PLANET DID YOU FALL OFF"!?

And the assigned SFA ref is none other than our esteemed adversary, Craig Thomson!!!??? Never officiated a losing Hearts team in lotsa previous Embro derbies!!! How sweet if Hibs can do this tonight! However, as usual, my concern centres on a poss dodgy red card or pk against Hibs!! This man has past 'dodgy form' when it comes to Hibs and Embro derbies!

Guys,
No matter what Hearts players have to say about us the fact remains that we will finish well above them in the league
Tonight`s result only gives one of us bragging rights, the result against Rangers is the one that matters most. A win against them will see us finish at least 3rd and might see us into the Europa league.
Beat Hearts and lose to Rangers and we`re 4th, I know which result I would rather have BUT it would be nice to take the 3 points tonight. GGTTH
