My Recruits

As I'm supposed to be the expert on Non-League, which actually means I've read a lot and seen a lot of other people's opinions I've come up with my own little non-league recruited squad. I've avoided rich non-league clubs who could outbid us for certain. As you only need 16 players every Saturday it is a small squad.

Goalkeepers:-

Grant Smith - Boreham Wood - 24, England C caps, sound.
Euan Van der Vliet - Jersey - Paul Fairclough drafted him for England C, think he's 19, excellent cover.

Defence:-

Kane Smith - Boreham Wood - consistent young defender, EFL on the alert.
Moussa Diarra - Barrow - 28, French defender, never played EFL.
James Jones - Chester, 19 6' 4" central defender or full back already has England C caps.
Giancarlo Gallifuoco - Dover - mid twenties Aussie defender, wing back, or midfield should be in the EFL.
Callum Westwood - Rushden - 19 Northampton reject, dual registered with Kettering.
Percy Kiangebeni - St Albans - 21 Classy defender or midfielder, scores a goal and can pass, EFL level.

Midfield:-

Mitch Brundle - Dover - 24, defensive midfielder, can cover at the back too, captain, consistent.
Ady Pinnock - Dover - mid twenties, lively central midfield or wide, has a goal in him.
Corey Whiteley - Ebbsfleet - 28, attacking midfielder, does score.
Elton Ngwatala - Kidderminster - mid twenties can pass, score and has a touch of class.
Emmanuel Sonupe - Kidderminster - mid twenties midfielder, would have no problems stepping up levels.
Reise Allassani - Dulwich - 22, once the star of the Palace academy, danger man all over the park, scores.

Attackers:-

Mike Fondop-Talom - Guiseley - loan to Halifax, 25?, has done well, recruit from amateur level, a gamble.
Bruno Andrade - Boreham Wood - 24, 19 goals this season, would succeed in EFL too, Portuguese.
Ky Marsh-Brown - Whitehawk - England C man, showing up in Whitehawk's revival.
Gold Omatayo - Whitehawk - 23 played Swiss fourth tier, up front or midfield, takes a mean free kick.
Nassim L'Ghoul - St Neot's Town - 20 on loan at Whitehawk, a winger, makes goals rather than scores.
Jacob Hazel - Frickley Ath - 24, 35 goals this season, Chesterfield reject after 2 appearances!

Some of these like Gallifuoco and Allassani would have plenty of clubs sniffing around them. Equally a club like Chesterfield might look at the EFL and see a player like Ricky Miller marooned on loan at Mansfield, very possibly Peterborough don't think he can make it with them and he has proved himself a certainty for 20+ goals at our new level.

There are plenty of others who would be worth a place in my little squad.

Player I would look at is Liam Hardy at Buxton.

He has scored a lot of goals. You could pair him with Jacob Hazel ........... and who knows what would happen. 0 - 60 in a season.
