Rotherham, I felt sorry for with the state of their town, when they were marooned at the athletics track, and now that they have the ground with most riduculous name in the universe. At least they now have lost the title of teenage unmarried mother capital of Europe. They turned out to be quite good at child abuse though.

Feminists, they're right. The Vanarama is bad, Ched Evans was much worse. We should publicly apologise.

Everybody has hated us since CheAterfield. Personally I'd have felt sorry for the fans of any other club in that position. One minute you're cheering on your team who are strolling away with their division playing good football, the next you find you've been spending your Saturdays in an episode of Crimewatch. Everything that can go wrong has in the last 20 years. I still hold David Elleray responsible. Any real football fan would have a place in their heart for a little club robbed of a Cup Final appearance in that way.

Well Mansfield fans want us to go bust because when Mansfield went into Non-League apparently we all hoped they go under. Now I don't like Mansfield as they are our rivals but I wouldn't want them to go bust, I wouldn't want any club to go bust.

Rotherham fans want us to go bust because of what Chris Turner once said about their spending.

and yes Dev, some feminists want us to go bust because we signed Ched Evans which was nearly 2 years ago. We should never have signed him as it split the fan base.

Ever since Cook left in 2015 and majority of that squad was sold off, we've been on a downward spiral and it's difficult to see where the end is.

The trouble with fans is the daftest ones are best at shouting.

Player of the Season award which was going to be presented on Saturday at Wycombe game has now been cancelled and Tommy Lee has come back on a caretaker basis to coach the keepers.

If I were in charge of the club I would get Tommy back part-time next season to coach our keepers. My opinion is that is all a small club really needs. It might find around his other commitments and ambitions.

Good news!

I agree with that. Who would you have as manager though?

Apparently Tommy is working at Sheff U academy

Yeah Tommy is at Sheff Utd, but they could have Simon Treacle-fingers again. Tommy could get on with writing, which he apparently wants to do. Surely a league club that has been around as long as us, dipping its toes into non-league for the first would make him articles, even a book. Otherwise why spend three years studying sports journalism? And goalkeeping coach unless you employ as many keepers as Liverpool shouldn't be a full-time commitment. When this country was full of excellent keepers, goalkeeping coaches didn't exist at all. Work that one out.

I want us to bring in an experienced non-league manager either as manager or assistant.

Just listened to Evo's interview and you know something ,he said things that actually made sense which wasn't always the case with Jack.
Of course ,talk is cheap and he has to show he can influence the players on the pitch but I really hope he can make a go of it .

I kind of avoided Matt's question about who would I go for as manager largely because I definitely want Llera to stay and I'd like Evo on the staff too. I'd like to retain a Chesterfield element with people who've done a good job for us.

BUT - if I had to pick a non-league manager who is doing an outstanding job it would be Luke Garrard (hope I got his name right) from Boreham Wood. They'll almost certainly make the play-offs, they are a small club, with a 500 or 600 following. He's in his thirties, he's wholly responsible for building them up to this level. They're a sophisticated team who play some decent stuff. AND as a bonus he might bring some very good players with him. Grant Smith is probably the best keeper in non-league at about 24, Kane Smith is a young full back in the England C squad who has impressed all season, Bruno Andrade is a classy and speedy forward who has scored 19 so far and Morgan Ferrier with 14 goals has had England C caps. He knows non-league inside out. Whereas Boreham Wood would always financially struggle to gain and retain EFL status, we've been doing it for ninety years.

To be honest Blue, aside for his over-attraction to psychobabble that lead to the appearance of the odd embarrassing cliche in his interviews, Jack Lester was probably the most impressive media manager in our history. Unfortunately what happened with the team seemed way out of sync with his lips. He gave the appearance of being original and even challenging but the on-field result was boring, samey and unsuccessful. I'm sorry about that.

What I don't want now is for another one of our heroes to be tarnished.

Most boring manager who did interviews was Caldwell he came across depressive and boring.

To be honest I would give the job to Evo and Llera as both joint managers. Joint managers seem to work for Salford and Lincoln and Buxton's new managers are joint managers who used to manage Glossop.

Also this article which has been released tonight really sums up the last 3 years.
