Hibs v Celtic, Sat 21 April, KO 12.30pm

Well this could be a title-winning match for the Hoops and it could be a day when Killie may get closer to Hibs league position as well. However, Hibs will be organised to tackle Celtic a lot better than Rangers futile efforts on Sunday - we may not win but I'd hope to see Hibs players 'in their faces' and 'having a go' to try and attain a positive result. It will be tough but so far this season every Hibs game v Celtic has been fairly positive in terms of performance on the pitch. C'mon Hibs and force Celtic to win the title on another day!

Hopefully it will be a close game and at least an upbeat, aggressive one from Hibs' view. We have every incentive to pressurise the teams above us and I would find it humorous to have the League hierarchy find themselves forced into the very situation they want to avoid.

I don't want them celebrating at easter road and think we will give them a game.

Could be a very intense game with Celtic trying to win the league and us trying to catch Aberdeen and Rangers but hopefully it will be up to the standard of our other meetings except that we`re due a win against them. The law of averages states it will happen at some time, Saturday 21st April is as good a time as any. GGTH

Arsene Wenger finally 'calling it a day' with Arsenal and the Gunners apparently interested in Brendan Rodgers. Lawwell even commenting on the situ. Maybe the 'Aberdeen effect' will hit the Hoops tomorrow to Hibs benefit eh! Rolleyes

SKY doorstepped dermot desmond about the story and he told them cool as you like that he wouldnt stand in his way if he wanted to go. Which surprised me Laugh

I don't think arsenal will go for rodgers. He will have them well up for todays game, he's no mcinnes.

Yaassssss. What a beautiful day!

Fantastic result, fine goals, great performance right from the off when we got in celtics faces. lewis, hanlon, mcginn and kamberi all were superb but the whole team was on it today.....and when that happens it just shows that we can more than match the best side in the league.

Celtic were outplayed and outfought for long periods the day when they should have been really up for it, only rogic looked a threat (his feet are out of this world good) so who knows maybe there is something going on behind the scenes there, but that doesnae take away from what was a tremendous hibs performance.

Lennon's a tremendous hibs manager, 100%dedicated,total professional, lives every moment of the game on the touchline. He has instilled real belief in those players. No way were we going to let them stroll about on our park to the title under his watch. With neil in charge, leanne upstairs and the fans coming back to easter road in numbers the potential is incredible.

Great win and sets up nicely for the run-in and fight for 2nd place between all three teams. Also sets up the scenario the league tried so hard to avoid - Celtic winning the title against Rangers!!

Do you think you can keep Lennon if any English teams come calling?

Sunshine on Leith today and I'm wondering if someone at Hibs FC has been reading my OP? Smile 'In their faces' from the off and what a deserved victory with a couple of cracking goals. Kamberi an absolute terrier (we must try to sign him up asap) as was McGinn and we certainly saw the 'real' Swanny today adding a tough physicality to Hibs midfield. Everyone following Lenny's instructions 'to a tee'! Btw Lenny will stay at ER because he has been captivated by the potential at Hibs FC, has been fully supported by Hibs Board and has been engrossed with his Hibs project - a good match up between Leeann and Lenny with a common goal and a long term one at that and he is enjoying this 'project'.

Thought lennon got the tactics spot on, he knows the importance of forrest and rogic to that celtic team so we man marked one, closed out the space on the other. and pressed them up the park and waited inevitably for gordon to xxxx up one of his kicks. He is useless with the ball at his feet. Worked a treat for us.

He got his fingers burned down south career wise,i don't think he will be in any huge hurry to leave hibs.

Notice the huns are accusing us and celtic of match fixing, like a manager of rogers calibre would throw a game. It also ignores that barring the cup game all the matches have been pretty close affairs.
