Exactly who my choice would be.
But would he come to us? Yes we are a bigger club than Bournemouth and we are a PL club, but as it stands I would rather manage the attacking and exciting team with a chance at promotion than the stale relegation strugglers
It would be up to him to change it 1996,
Heres one . The Brentford boss who is doing amazing thins at the moment, top 6 beat Wolves 4-0 today
Now someone correct me if im wrong, i'm sure when last Brentford sacked there manager the technical director was appointed as the new Boss,
The same Technical director Albion were after when Ashworth left (Name escapes me)

Yep that's him
My worry is JP would have to admit one big mistake if he was to sack Irvine,
So i would be amazed if it actually happens,

I wouldn't look at Warburton or Howe because even though they are doing well in the Championship, it doesn't mean that they are ready for Premiership management. They may also not even be interested in leaving their current clubs, would be a risk with the hope of them stepping up and we would have to pay compensation for them.
I also wouldn't look at Tony Pulis because I dislike everything about the guy and his methods.
If AI goes then I would still look at an available, foreign coach. If we could attract them, Jens Keller and Quique Sanchez Flores would be on the top of my list. Keller may unfortunately be out of our reach and he may want a break to recover from his Schalke tenure, which must have been very stressful for him, but Flores could be attractable. He was linked with us the day before we appointed Pepe Mel who I still wish we had kept.
Here's something for you guys to think about. What if Irvine has been saving Varela, Gamboa, Blanco and Ideye for our next 2 matches? It seems unlikely right now but it could be that Irvine chose the normal guys to try to contain Chelsea and Arsenal before then unleashing the new guys in our next more winnable games.
If that isn't the case and we lose our next 2 matches with no changes made then AI will deserve the sack.

Just read some of Irvine's comments on the E&S website - so apparently the substitution of Sess for Samaras worked because we had Arsenal on the back foot for the last 10 minutes and came close to scoring. No Al, we nearly scored because we actually got players in the box and tried to attack so why the @@@@ didn't we try doing it in the first 80 minutes?
I'll keep logging on in the hope that I'll see he's been sacked but I fear I'll have to sit through a few more hours of that dross before I get my wish.

If JP sacked AI and let the players pick their own team and tactics it would improve. The man has a negative value. Please sack him now so that we can revive the body before it becomes a corpse!

What do people think of our defence? We always look solid for most a game but concede goals where we should be doing much more.
Gardner was good with more freedom to attack and Mulumbu was mainly good defensively.
We still haven't replaced Cunningham and need to try something new out wide, because we're not creating near enough.
Some of our players really need to work on their left feet (Wisdom, Samaras) instead of avoiding using it like the plague.
That offside decision was fooking annoying.
