We ain't lost at the home of The FA in ages. Then again, we ain't scored a goal there in 90 mins in ages either. We keep coming away with trophies though. Can anyone rustle up a meaningless trophy for us to win in the next hour? How about The First League Side to beat Spurs at home in 2018 Trophy aka, the We Nicked it off Bill Trophy?

Bill? Nicked? Bill Nickleson?

I'm wearing my coat, I don't need to get it. I'm going, I'm going. Well actually I'm here, sort of. Marylebone, a drop of Neck Oil to keep out the cold.

Town unchanged from last week. Over to Snoots for the fancy stuff

Some chap called Green on the bench. Must have got off his sun bed.

2 subs and I ain't been for my half time w, oooh, too much information, yet.

Lolley banging em in for Forest. How good are we at doing that with players?

If we decide to go for it up front. Depoitre or Green seem to be the only options left.

Not a bad performance really. They were too strong and fast for us be we had some decent spells.

Now watched the game on Sky and have to say we played well. Spurs defended gallantly and had the best player in world football at the moment on hand to set up both their goals.
Matt Glennon on the radio talked and talked for about half an hour after the game blaming van La Parra for the defeat. Having now seen his mis placed pass, I can see how much bollocks he was actually talking.
Rajiv van La Parra is our most skilful player and doesn't deserve such venom from this pundit. I've a good mind to go stand at the back of his hair salon and talk shit about his hair cutting skills.  Whistle

Unlike the majority of our games against the top six, we did actually attempt to attack. But was just beaten by a far better team. No gripe with that at all. As Wagner said, "We can leave Wembley with our heads held high". The next five games are way more important! Thumb up

We played better than at or against most of the other top 6 sides (except Citeh and the Red Mancs in the Cup) but we were never getting anything from this game. Yards faster than Town on the pitch when they wanted to be and a speed of thought that made some of our lads look like they were pondering a chess move instead of kicking a football.

I thought at the time Van the Man's pass to Kane that set up their second was his most accurate of the day Whistle, having watched the highlights, I haven't seen much to change my mind.

I've been Rajiv's biggest advocate for a while, he's our most skilful player and on his day is invaluable. However, he needs to sort himself out for this run-in and stop being such a fanny. At West Brom he was lucky not to cost us a goal by blatantly diving and giving the ball away allowing them to counter with men over, and that happened more than once. The second goal for Spurs was a world class ball from Kane followed by a great header from Son (best player on the pitch by a mile - so underrated), however you can't seriously watch that and say Rajiv is in no way to blame. He bottles challenges too often and on Saturday played a pass blind because he shit himself when someone got close to him. In closer games that will cost us.

He starts every week for me, but he has to man up the next 2 months and help us over the line.
