For those travelling down on Saturday...

Let me recommend The Vine on Roebuck Street.

Only a 20 minute walk away from The Hawthorns (Kenrick Park Tram stop is just around the corner if you're lazy like me and hate the idea of walking) and they have a fantastic Indoor BBQ serving up Chicken Tikka and other tasty stuff. Could eat some now to be honest, it's really good!

Also for those that like a pint or 12 of real ale/bitter, you can't go wrong with a bit of Bathams if you want to try a local pint.

They do have a few nice beers on in The Vine, so it's definitely the main place I'd recommend out of all local to the ground. I would say maybe consider a taxi to get to the ground, but you're probably better off jumping on the tram. Our players haven't starting robbing those... yet!

We've decided rather than queue up for the bar near the ground that we'd rather stop further out, so a 2hr pub stop near Tamworth has been set for Saturday lunchtime.
Got a feeling both sets of fans will need plenty of beer down them just to get through 90mins of bricking it.

We're staying in Oldbury and going to the ground early so I can get as near as I can - had an operation on my foot so not able to do oodles of walking. Sad

Thinking about going to the fanzone. It's right next to the ground, unlike ours, a mile down the road. Rolleyes

Most Away fans drink in the Royal Oak, Handsworth, on the main road (A41) into B'ham. It's the nearest to the Coach Park, and a 5 minute walk to the ground. Never any trouble (not that there is anyway at the Albion), and a busy team behind the Bar. If weather's ok there's a big patio/garden round the back.
Cheers, but hope you enjoy pre-match better than your post-match. Thumb up

The fanzone is definitely your best bet then I'd say providing it's not peeing it down. Only minimal shelter at the far end where there's usually a decent sized marquee put up.

They should have the early kick off up on the big screen to watch too by the way. Only just over the road from the ground so you can't get closer than that  Thumb up
