Zin, Interesting fable about Bud here in the US. I lived in Chicago for 12 years and any true Chicagoan will never drink Budweiser due to it being a St Louis company and those two cities having a big sports rivalry, but that’s not the only reason they don’t drink it. Back at the turn of the last century the city of Chicago reversed the flow of the Chicago river so that the “waste” the river picked up as it ran through the city would not flow into Lake Michigan, which is where the city’s drinking water comes from. As a consequence of this, the river now flowed from Chicago until it reached the Mississippi river which then flowed into St Louis and was where the Bud brewery got it’s water supply from. As the City of St Louis were angry at Chicago for sending all their waste down to them, the inhabitants took delight in saying that the brewery collected all the piss from Chicago, turned it into Bud, bottled it and shipped it back to Chicago as beer, hence why it’s often referred to as piss-water in Chicago!!!

Bottled still water and tea is all I drink daily because I'm a boring xxxx. The occasional Diet Coke if out during the day.

I'm 4 years sober and I have no intention of ever drinking alcohol again. When I did drink I was a Peroni man.

Oxfordshire born. Berkshire based.

Cup of tea first thing then a few coffees (Americano) then back to tea for rest of day.

Love a good real ale (Timothy Taylor’s, Adnams, Wandsworth IPA especially) but nowadays I drink far more wine and am partial to a G&T.

Soft drink: Coca Cola/Pepsi or Ginger Beer (I believe Old Jamaica is the brand)
Hot drink: Coffee all around is pretty good, if I had to choose one type I would go for an Orange Mocha (Chocolate Orange Coffee - what's not to love?!)
Beer/Lager: Stella or Desperados
Spirit: Gin & Tonic with a bit of lime cordial is my go to at the mo.
Drink of choice while hungover: A large coke from McDonalds - Coke tastes better from McD's anyway, but I just crave the hell out of it when I'm hungover and BONUS I can get a Big Mac whilst I'm there as well.

There, I think I've covered all bases Big Grin
