This is definitely a tough fixture for Hibs and we need to 'show up' and play well as a team, a solid collective unit, if we are gonna pick up any pts v a Hoops' side that has never lost a domestic home game for a long, long time. Lenny's starting line up will be interesting and I suspect 'big Marv' will return from injury to add extra defensive cover. I also think Lenny may ponder what to do with Efe although I'd expect the 'big man' to 'raise his game' on his return to Celtic Park. Hibs have actually given Celtic a 'testy time' in all their confrontations with the champions but only ended up with 2 pts so far. Here's hoping that Lady Luck favours us a wee bit more than normal.

We have drawn with them twice this season and scored 6 goals. We absolutely shouldn't be going into this game with any fear.
One person who wont be featuring is stokes. Lennon has apparently read him "the riot act" and told him he out the door. Rumour is that leeann gave him a written warning prior to the training camp in Portugal so he can have absolutely no complaints.

If we go out and move the ball about the way we all know the boys can and lose, there is no disgrace in that outcome. Our performance on the day will have a huge bearing on the result but Hibs have shown we can match Celtic and should have beaten them earlier this season so a draw or a sneaky win is not beyond us.

Don't rely on the BBC for any information on this game. So far, Griffith's goal came from a mistake by Stevenson OR maybe MacGregor according to the Final Score match reports. On the Scottish Football page it was a Hanlon mistake!

Aye! Some question marks on Hanlon's role in losing that goal although he and Darren Mac outstanding in this game! We lost the match but AGAIN played very well in a good part of the game with some 'bright moments'! The 'pivotal moment' for Hibs was a huge Maclaren goal opp in the dying mins of the game when 'he has to score' with an easy header but unfortunately appears to 'bottle it' - another good goal opp scorned and it just 'adds fuel' to our debate re not taking enough goal opps and endorsing our positive attacks on opposing defences with deserved goals!!
