This is the same guy who publicly stated he wanted to go to Rangers eh and, as mentioned in my OP, it reflects the desperate side of Hertz and Potter! Also where are they getting the money from to finance a deal on a player who is earning £10k pw and never 'kicked a baw' in a serious match for quite a while? However, Alan Stubbs' comment today was that 'he is a good signing' but he is referring to a player who is many years older than the time that Stubbsy coached him. He could be a threat and I'm sure Potter will desperately field him in the hope that he has a 'successful debut'. I'm expecting Lenny to be well up on Potter's desperate tactics and, like him, I wanna win this match outright on their own shity little pitch and GIRU Potter and Hertz limited aspirations for this season!!

Naismith, like lafferty is another complete scrote of a player.

If Steven Naismith was the good player that Hearts like us to believe Norwich City would never have put him out on loan. It`s pretty obvious he does not figure in their future plans and if they can get somebody to take him on and pay his wages it takes some pressure off their finances. I think Naismith can do a job at Tynecastle but he`s nothing like the player he once was.

Naismiths a good signing for them. Might take him some time to get sharp but he's got ability alright.

The jambos must be paying him a good amount,i heard a rumour his agent offered his services to us but it was seen as "too rich" for us to pay that kind of dough.

Potter already hinting it is very likely he will not remain with Hearts, come the end of the season, because of the high financial demand.

They are spunking the walker fee basically, for 5 months and a cup run.......its absolute lunacy from a business point of view with the situation they have with the new stand.

Naismith is a horrible wee shite of a player, sneaky kicks, diving, moaning at the ref all the time to get players booked. He's turned up at the right club for sure. He's got ability, but his diving and cheating was a big factor too.

Lennon was quite cute with his comments yesterday i thought, he's put a bit of pressure on potter and took the stokes situation right out the equation.

Very poor 2nd half showing the day, resulting in a 1-0 defeat with hertz scoring a scrappy goal late on. Probably deserved although we were very close to forcing a replay,to be fair hertz created that wee bit more in the game although boyle had a couple of great chances too.

Some save from marciano as well, shame too many players were off their game the day. Ambrose and mcginn in particular were really poor.

Starting to think that whole thing with stokes has caused some fallout behind the scenes. We need to resolve that and replace him before this window closes.

No winter break abroad, no Stokes/player misbehaviour issue that kinda 'clouded' the lead up to this game!!?? I must add this was a horrible match TBF and what level of footie are we talking about on a pitch that was in an awful condition again with players 'slipping all over the place' and it's televised as a top match in Scotland! I'm sure the standard of footie in the English National League or League 2 is superior to this crap - a shocker and what a poor ad for the Scottish game!! Thumb down Remember that the ticket prices were >£30 - not even worth a tenner IMO and it's a pity Trading Standards are not involved in this type of retail mis-selling exercise!

Let them enjoy their win, 4 years in the making ffs. I don't think there was a huge amount in it,but thats fitba. We definitely have some issues to sort out in the next 10 days and the games are coming thick and fast. Going by the managers post match stokes is 100% out the door in the next week but it will all be dealt with 'in house'.

Oh and the smarterse that thought it was funny throwing a broken glass missile into the hibs end after their goal is a total scumbag. I hope he gets lifted.

I`ve said before that the winter break knocks us all to hell and I think it proved it today.
I thought we had a few players off their game today and with Stokes missing we were way behind our level of performance in previous matches. Hopefully this is just a minor set back and we can raise our game in games to come.
We shouldn`t be too downhearted I suppose Hearts had to win at some point and we need to remember they have had a clean sheet in their last half dozen matches.

I also think Potter's stramash with Boyly at the Hearts dugout should be reviewed by the SFA as Martin Boyle did nothing but wanna quickly retrieve the ball - Potter fortunate that Boyly is not a 'laughing boy' faking character anyway but he 'broke the rules' by manhandling a player in the vicinity of the dugout!!! Re Boyly, I can't believe he missed that 'sitter' at Hertz back post in the 1st half that would've 'put Hibs nicely in the driving seat' at that stage of the game - a simple left foot shot (not a right foot mishit!!) back into the far corner of the Hearts net!!! Lotsa time for a competent striker to do it but Boyly is not that player!! Also I'll scream if I hear some Hertz clown or media clown banging on again about Hertz current no goals lost record - a deception of the highest order and that record riddled with good fortune and anti footie tactics attached to it esp after that ignored Ollie Shaw goal that their defence recently conceded and everyone saw it and knew full well that their defence can be breached by the appropriate team that presses them in the right manner!!!
