Embro Derby: Hertz v Hibs, Wed 27 Dec, KO 7.45pm

A horrible game to watch, potter afterwards delighted with catching us offside so much and no shots on target at home. He really is a joke, like their version of Alec miller. He would get fitba stopped. His team predictably got away with murder on that midden of a pitch. Has their been a more detestable xxxx of a player than walker?

We came to sneak the win going by our tactics and at the least not to lose. Lennon pointing out afterwards playing our game on that surface would be difficult. I think we deserved the win,a perfectly good goal chopped off (again) and our players unlike Celtics matched them physically and gave them very little.

A killie team on form and playing well next. Should be a much better spectacle for the holiday support to enjoy.

Lenny rightly tearing into the refereeing and Levein's bullying tactics. I totally agree that the post match interview just exposed Potter as the anti footie individual that he really is and, as mentioned previously, recent match reports on Hearts matches don't lie with the words 'boring' and 'harrowing to watch' regularly used by bbc radio reporters.

Too expensive LS - a previous quote by SPFL officials. Maybe we should just 'downgrade' to a live tv SFA observer in the stand who would know that it was a goal within about 60 secs and inform the referee on the pitch through his comms facility eh!! Rolleyes

Just watched the game again strangely brought up by the pundits last 0-0 draw between the teams HFC got cheated out of a goal with the free kick from Leigh Griffiths.

Lennon also made a great statement in saying it had to be a goal as the ball came back out of the net and it did not bounce straight ip & down.

Harry potter face with that stupid grin he has knew his team of crap got off the hook last night in his interveiw on sky

Yeah a bit of bad luck for the Hibees but as I said previously a draw was never gonna be a bad result for us. It keeps the run going to 9 unbeaten and will make the Tarts a lil jittery come the Cup game in just over 3 weeks time when the figure could be "10".
ggtth!

Well that would endorse our 'ten in a row' chant and ram it down Potter's throat as well as many of those 'big team' bragging gunts that we put up with down the years eh! How times have changed for them when they were clearly 'living beyond their means' and getting away with murder on the footie front! I wanna see Hibs unbeaten run continue well beyond ten unbeaten derby matches!

Imagine a situation where we see two teams (Rangers &Celtic) playing the last game of the season and both are tied on points, goal difference etc and one team loses the league on a decision like last night. The SPFL would be forced into taking action to make sure it never happened again but the aftermath would rock our game to its` foundations.
The powers that be got a warning back in 2013 when Lee Griffiths scored a perfectly good goal that wasn't given and although the whole country agreed the ball was well over the line nothing was done to prevent an occurrence. Last nights shambles made our game, and rulers, look amateurish. Claims we can`t afford the technology to cover this situation arising in the future may have the media companies rethink their coverage of our game.

As Lenny rightly commented last night - 'That incident when a ball actually bounced off and out of the Hearts net makes a mockery of the game up here. Is it now a case of, 'Can we not afford to take action to deal with said problem'?

Nothing will be done. The SFA don't give a xxxx about the games reputation here. The whole sevco fiasco proved that.

Happy new year gents how you all doing??

Right let’s get to it defo goal not even a doubt about it however the Lino is unsighted and IMO McLean had a much better view to give it however you all know Shaw is offside anyway.
