Town v Stoke match thread

Thought we played well against an established mid-table side. Ince's goal was long overdue but he kept making the runs and got on the end of a ball from a persistent Quaner. Lössl et al somehow kept the ball out in a minute of mayhem in the box. The replay at half time showed diddley squat of the ball was hanging on the line but was enough not to award a goal. Town switched off at the back as Joe Allen broke to win the free kick and then run onto the pass and cross for a tap in at the back post. Town continued to run at the Stoke defence and cause them problems but we either couldn't or wouldn't pull the trigger. How the judo throw on Mooy wasn't a penalty was beyond me but its 3 games unbeaten, 5 points and I'll take that.

Snow watch - just been to pick up a ticket for Monday. Sprinkle of snow around the ground is melting fast and it started raining as I walked back into town. Should be gone by tomorrow so Plod won't have to worry too much about snowballs knocking his hat off tomorrow.
