'Twas the week before Christmas and Beefy feels ill,
He needs to go to bed and take that big Pill,
He adds up the scores and see's the Binman is top,
What a load of old rubbish, he just caught the rest on the hop.

Ok so Zinman won with 22 Points,   Angry
But the big Story is BBB who came in 2nd with 19 points after complaining of a poor Saturday,
Well done BBB on a great SOS Sunday, Pity Zinman keeps getting his Balls in all the right places he seem's to fluke them into the right spot all the time,
In my eyes BBB you deserved the victory, I can't for the life of me think of anyone else who has such lucky balls as Zinman,
Although 7 out of 10 Predictions for Zinman seem's he has something in his locker,
Mind you after his drunken, porn spurge last weekend i dread to think what must be in their   Whistle
There's a huge drop to third as St Charles with the only one to my mind that predicted a West Ham win came in with just 9 Points,
Bomber we need a updated table Prem V Champ please, i feel the better predictions will be in our League,
Probably another reason Zinny is doing so well in the greed league.
Twerton came home in fourth a improved position for him after recent results but the points just are not coming along at the rate he needs really,
In equal 5th with 6 points another two strugglers in Joker and WorldClass and it appears things are not getting much better,
At least we know why his nickname is the Joker huh guys?
In 7th poor old Matt just cant get to grips with this at all, Position wise improvements but in a low scoring week it's not of much use to him.
8th place was Sanjay with 4 points again a regular at the prediction League who seems to be having his struggles, come on Sanjay your better than this   Thumb up
Interesting are our 9th place guys and gals. Yes we had two people on a single point,
Firstly Amelia top last week Yet almost bottom this week, inconsistency is the word for Amelia this season,
Inconsistent is not a word you use for DD though, our runaway leader rarely has a bad week but here's one, just a single point was gained from his venture this week, giving good players like St charles and BBB a sniff and maybe one or two other average players like Zinman although that's a long shot as Mr mediocre is bound to have a bad week next week,
Just the one minus man this week, Poor old Derby's struggles continue, chin up though mate and merry Xmas to ya   Big Grin  and you were only just in the minus mate -1 so not too bad   Whistle
Talking of XMAS I would like to wish you all a good one early and after weeks 17 fixtures are posted that will be the last until January the 6th when we shall return with a interesting group of Fixtures as it's FA Cup third round week,
Can't wait, can you ?
Beefy   Thumb up

Premiership

While DD’s lead at the top is still 38 points it’s more because of those directly below him that it’s still so healthy, a mid season blip has seen him a point worse off than he was after week 14, but Sanjay in 2nd hasn’t been able to make any ground up as he is actually a point worse off than he was after week 12.
The new kid on the block and holding joint 2nd is Zinman, who only as recently as week 10 was 8th on 28 points, this week he not only passed the century mark but added 15 to it for good measure – with a 6, two 4’s and a quickly run single to mid-off – (sorry wrong sport)  Rolleyes
BBB is another not far away, ready to apply some pressure, having climbed a place into 4th at the expense of St Charles who dropped a couple of places despite a fair week, being outscored by those around him. The gap from 2nd to him in 5th is only 12 points though and he did join the ranks of the centurions  Thumb up .
A bit of a gap then to Derby in 6th who’s bad trot the last 2 weeks has seen him drop 3 places and lose 11 points down to 82 this week when he was close to a 100 at the end of week 14.
Amelia though, having shown a bit of form last week couldn’t make any ground up this week in 7th and could soon find that spot under pressure from Worldclass in 8th as he closed the gap to just 5 points.
Joker enjoyed his week away from the relegation places so much, that he decided to extend his stay in 9th for at least another week while Twerton clearly took a liking to the relegation place he tried out last week remaining in 10th, but still well ahead of Matt who suffered the inevitable Gamball fail that has plagued his season, 1 correct result from 12 - it is this stat that leaves him bottom.

Bomber

'Twas the week before Christmas and Beef's in despair
Will he get promotion? He hasn't a prayer.
That 20 plus point week, still nowhere in sight
Try copying Bomber, cos he's done all right.

(with apologies to Clement Clark Moore)

A relatively high scoring week with no Minusmen, though a few tried. Sadly no predictions from Quantum so zero points to him. The Gamball produced more points than normal (Villa doing what we all love to see them do) with only 3 players losing points from it. Everyone gained points from Man City and Liverpool though most of you remain far too optimistic of Albion's chances (though I have noticed the frequent use of the insurance ball accompanying predictions of an Albion victory!)

Top of the league this week is Bomber, 24 points helped by a correct Gamball score and good use of both his bonus and insurance balls - seems he might be getting his act together and looking to join the big boys (and Amelia) next year. Stairs belied his previous position at the bottom of the table with second place, largely due to a maximum on the Gamball. Good use of the three balls helped Vic and Snooty share 3rd place.
Beefy had another mid-table week, a decent score of 16 points and 6 correct results, but was let down by a bad bonus choice and undue Albion optimism. Unlike his fellow scorers, he yet again failed to break the 20 point barrier despite various feelings in his waters. One day, beefy, one day.
Baggieone was saved from a nightmare week by the gamball - zero points from the other 9 games. After heading the table last week, 4eva looked to be struggling but was saved by 6 of his 7 points coming from Sunday's games. He was joined on 7 points by Bournemouth who seems to be struggling after his good start to the season. And then there was Salop. Just 1 point and 3 correct results only saved from the ignominy of last place by Quantum's no show.

Championship

Snooty eased away at the top this week opening up a 16 point lead in the race for the league title and promotion to the Premiership next year and is now the top points scorer across both leagues for the first time.
4eva just about managed to keep hold of his coat tails in 2nd and nearing the halfway point has never been out of the top 2 all season, although that could come under threat in the shape of Bomber in 3rd who backed up his recent run after being on 30 points at the end of week 10 in a similar fashion to Zinman in the Premiership. Both former champions and currently proving the old saying “form is temporary, class is permanent”  Wink .
Baggieone is another suffering a dip in form in 4th having added only 6 points since passing the 100 mark at the end of week 13, and Beefy in 5th will be hoping that run continues as he returns to mid table after a week away, not just because of Quantums “no show” but also because of a decent week amongst the balls.
BaggieVicar reclaims 7th and is not too far away from those directly above him should they have a wobble or a bad week.
The bottom 3 are set to have a ding dong battle to either climb the table or avoid taking the wooden spoon with Salop heading the 3 in 8th place but after dropping a place only 2 points clear of Bournemouth in 9th who’s had his own slump to contend with and will be looking to improve before Stairs who at one point on Sunday was off the bottom for the first time in 7 weeks but couldn’t stay off it, but did end the week just a point adrift  Thumb up .

Bomber, I really like the look of this week's tables - whatever happened to that other guy who was helping with the scoring?

My march up the table continues (Beefy, I've always been good with my balls) and I don't intend to give up my title easily. Good try with the poetry Beefy (but needs some work on your scanning). I will reveal this week's challenge later.
