I like Carlos but he appears to simply be out of ideas to get this team moving!!! He has tried just about every player we would say were good enough for the starting 11 and still they struggle. This group of players are better than what we are seeing week in, week out!! We have gone from an attacking team, even if it was on the break, to a totally defensive team.
If Hooper is being told to constantly come deep for the ball then we might as well play him in midfield, can’t remember one time when he received the ball facing the goal!! Everytime he gets it with his back to goal he has to play it backwards or sideways and we lose our momentum, get Rhodes on, take Palmer off, go 3 at the back and drop Hooper behind the front two. But we know Carlos won’t do that until the 80th minute!!!
