Madine has scored for Coventry.
Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

Madine is a goalscorer.

If we get the ball into the box enough then he will score.

SG will probably be judged by selling our best goalscoring midfielder (Antonio) & putting our best goalscing striker out on loan while we have scored one goal in eleven hours.

Results went for us this weekend with most below us losing, but a gap has appeared above us now as well!!

To be fair I think it was MM who sold Antonio, not sure how much say SG had in that decision.

Do you think we will ever score again? Can't believe that none of those chances went in. It seemed harder for May to hit the bar than score!

Semedo hitting the post and the scramble at the end would normally have gone in, but we can't buy a goal at the moment!! We could have scored 4 goals today with a bit more luck and finesse!!!!

May was as outstanding as he can be without scoring, Westwood saved us a couple of times, Maghoma cleverly set May clear but his shot hits underside of bar down on to the post, three efforts blocked on the line, Maguire brought down in box but referee books him for diving and Drenthe forces keeper into great save at death.

Palmer kept Bunn quiet and Helan who struggled early on gradually got to grips with Scannell. Lees saved us with one sliding clearance in the first half.

Westwood - 9 - saved us again
Palmer - 7 - best game for a while, kept his side tight
Lees - 8 - outstanding, again
Loovens - 6 - solid generally, yellow card
Helan - 7 - used his pace to good effect
Drenthe - 7 - good threat, went close twice, dangerous corners, wild tackle foor yellow card
McGugan - 6 - quiet debut
Semedo - 6 - couple of errors but better than recently
Maghoma - 6 - set up three good chances, all spurned
GTF - 5 - added little
May - 8 - everything but the goal, unlucky yellow card
................................................................
Nuhui - 6 - three half chances
Maguire - 6 - should have had penalty, unjust yellow card
Lee - 6 - hardly involved

We have a really good squad of players but they look like they have never practiced together.

Once Maghoma went off, we continued our record of never scoring this season when he hasn't been on the pitch.

Another draw keeps SG in his job for another week as we limp towards the relegation zone.

With my referee knowledge, both my bets won.

Over 4.5 Cards

First card before 29th minute

Thought both Wednesday full backs were decent today, Scannell and Bunn have been tearing some teams a new arseholes of late but your full backs kept them well shackled, Palmer in particular.

On the whole thought it was a poor game, no quality from either team and I suppose a draw was a fair result. I was particularly disappointed with our performance today, thought we'd turn you over quite easy today considering how bad you've been of late as we have been playing quite well despite two consecutive defeats. I can see why you are struggling to score goals and despite hitting the bar from May, I thought you would only score from a set play, which you nearly did, at the death.

On the whole a forgettable game, really low on quality.

We can't buy a goal at the minute and it is effecting the team, maybe not causing rifts but definitely draining them mentally.
I've got a feeling we'll get 1 goal and the confidence will return and there'll be no stopping us
Removed until we're actually on our way back  Doh
