We went into the game fearing a hammering. That we came out nearly snatching a point and having been on the end of some blatant gamesmanship, that we shouldn't be too surprised about, added to the frustration. It looked for all the world that it was play on when City were stopping our breaks and a whistle with a card if it happened the other way round. Having said that, it was a blast making Pep sweat again. Roll on Wednesday.

De Bruyne not booked a minute after Malone booked for exactly the same challenge.
Fernandinho had to make the most ridiculously outrageous dive to get booked.

I personally think that's a bit of a small club mentality coming out - the entire world's against us because we're little old Huddersfield. All opinions of course, but for me the referee had zero impact on the outcome of the game, unlike last week whereas the referee completely screwed us.

Well I'll put my tuppence worth in.
Hugely proud of our boys....we almost pulled off the near impossible and held them to a draw. After about 80 minutes I seriously thought we would...they had run out of ideas.
Yes their goal was a fluke....but it was deserved. They were by far the better team. And we all knew they would be.
I'm disappointed but not surprised.
As for all this hulabaloo about the ref....yes he got a few minor decisions wrong, but got all the major ones right (with the exception of sending VLP off....a yellow for each player would have been enough).
Wagner got his tactics spot on....and but for a fluke goal we could have held them.
We should take a lot of positives from that game and take it into Wed v Arsenal. Another performance like this and Arsenal might well struggle to break us down.
At last I think Wagner has finally got a plan B. Been saying it for months on here that he hasn't got one. Now he has.!!!

Did you see all the empty seats at the Etihad last night when Sterling curled in the winner?
Has there ever been a more undeserving of success set of supporters than them?
