I must say this is a fixture that I just 'don't fancy' at all. There is something about Hamilton Accies that 'does not gel' with me! Is it a 'bogey fixture'? That is something that I don't really believe in anyway - if you have the appropriate players and correct tactics, then a 'bogey team' should not enter such a debate at all!
Anyway, we have a very good away record so far and I hope Lenny opts for what he considers to be his best away line up.
I expect a starting line up like this one:

Bartley Ambrose
Boyle McGinn McGeouch
Murray Stokesy

The Accies registered a very good 0-2 win in their last game at Ibronx and I expect them to win. I hope Hibs prove me wrong and, more importantly, they 'show up' and 'give them a proper game' and are not subdued to concede to another duff result esp after that last loss to Saint Johnstone which was surprising when one compared their past form.

Rangers lose in their match v Dundee and suddenly Hibs have another chance to strengthen their 3rd placed spot in the Premiership but will they take it against a team that they find 'difficult' to beat!?

FT 1-1 and Hibs by far the better side but squander the chance to 'leapfrog' above the Dons by 1 pt - chance gone after conceding a surprise equalising goal on 72 mins. Still, we didn't lose but really should have won this v a team that didn't pose much of a threat.

What can you say ? They scored with their only effort on target ffs. This was a game we should have had in the bag long before then though. 1st half i would say was as good as we have played this season.

Lennon was raging afterwards about hamiltons rough house tactics but we have to learn to deal with that kind of game better. He also said a bit back that we should be 2nd in the league, well he's right but we won't get there with results like the day. Frustrating.

Next up thistle away and sevco/celtic at home.

I watched the bbc Sportscene highlights of this match and AGAIN I am debating another duff refereeing performance that has definitely 'done Hibs' out of 2pts!! The Hamilton goal was preceded by a clear foul by Imrie on Bartley!! And McGeouch should have been awarded a pk when he was clearly fouled in the Accies' pen box!! This duff referee was none other than Dom Robertson, the same numpty who awarded that infamous last min Schalke pk for Ross Co last season v Celtic for a Hoops' challenge in their pen box that was about 2 feet from the 'diving' Schalke - clearly no contact and Schalke subsequently suspended for 2 matches!!

Totally correct, 0762. I used to like Imrie a couple of years ago, but he's clearly past it (and knows it) so built up a fair number of fouls during the game - and the one against Bartley directly led to the Accies goal. Lennon rightly complains about lack of protection for his players. I like to watch good, flowing football, not a series of deliberately awkward, uncompromising fouls, which is why I support Hibs.
