If wet sham had paid the going rate for the stadium in the first place and paid the correct monthly rent, and paid for their football stadium refurbishment, the landlords would not be facing bankruptcy

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO ANY OTHER CLUB IN ENGLAND IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES:
The FA slam them for not doing due diligence on their landlords, and/or not paying their necessary share of the upkeep. The FA leave them to find a new ground for themselves, dock them 30 points for arsing up the fixture schedule, and impose a three-year transfer embargo.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO WEST HAM IN THESE CIRCUMSTANCES:
After a personal phone call of apology from the FA chairman, the Football Association will immediately commence work on a brand-new, purpose-built 120,000 capacity stadium constructed by twenty-four-hour slave labour. Furthermore, the FA will pay West Ham £1m a season for the honour of having them play at the new ground, and on the opening day give each of their fans a free knuckleduster with which to mug off any slags in the immediate vicinity.
